Happy Holidays, Arztea! I loved reading about all of your characters, but I took to Takeru straight away, and really enjoyed drawing him. I did a bunch of other sketches before I was happy, so there’ll be some little extras I can give to you after the big day, too!

[Personality]

Reserved | Patient | Anxious | Pessimistic Between 5 siblings and 2 overworked dads, Takeru isn’t the oldest sibling but is the general caretaker. Esp with the youngest twins. He’s very patient even when it comes to things he personally dislikes and sees the good in people first and foremost. He gets easily overwhelmed by loud and sudden noises he is not familiar to (general family ruckus vs sudden stranger shouting/shooting off fireworks or something) hence his headphones. He is hard on himself more than necessary and can become disheartened when he makes mistakes. It stems from being in the foster child system and horror stories told by the other kids about how if he messes up, his adoptive family can, and will, send him away. In summary: soft nervous boy who wants to become a ninja doctor like dad

Always has on his headphones (first gift he got from adopted parents) and necklace (a parting gift from birth parents)

His overall theme is about sealing- either using talisman/sealing paper to banish foes and create barriers or summoning spirits to fight alongside him

Love animals of all sorts (particularly ducks and rats).

Adopted by a soft, patient medic and an easily irritable (and very extra) assassin. He still loves his dads very much.

Earl Grey M.D., Ph.D

[Personality]

Intelligent | Flirtatious | Confident | Enigmatic | Whimsical | Melancholic | Obsessive |

As the head trauma surgeon in a rather busy hospital, Earl has his work cut out for him. When it comes to the table, he is detailed, meticulous, and extremely focused without having tunnel vision. However, as soon as he is out of the operating room and away from the table, the man turns into an almost too laid back doctor that gives out more flirts than prescriptions. He only flirts with those willing and of legal age. Knows when enough is enough and his advances become professional but with a friendly air. He finds being TOO professional too robotic and stuffy.

In summary: Locals shakes their head at his antics but respects his abilities and skills.

[Remarkable characteristics]

His hair is uneven and longer on one side because he cuts his own hair and thinks the cut is “cool” :/

The monocle started as a joke in highschool because of his name but eventually became something that defines him

Usually wears muted tones for clothing colours

My “mascot” character for my username since “arzt” is “doctor” and tacked on “tea” to make Arztea

He does like earl grey tea tho!

If death were a person, he’d give them them the middle finger each time followed by either a wink or blowing them a kiss

Shares the same VA as Scar from the Lion King

Neil Segreti (alias “WIRE”)

[Personality]

Individualistic | Creative | Discreet | Friendly | Private | Physical | Deceptive | Amoral | Eccentric

Neil was groomed to be a mafia hitman since birth and his personality made this a rather fitting match between person and life career.  It takes a lot of effort to rile him up, but when one has successfully done so, be prepared for the worst of revenges. Depending on the status of how much he likes the person, it could range from a small discomfort to the worst embarrassment possible with no punches pulled. Creative and discreet, one usually does not know when he is going to strike until he does.

He is an informal person, complete with pet names, a “happy go lucky” smile, and casual touches such as draping an arm around someone’s shoulders. His outwardly friendly attitude is probably the most honest thing about him, for being stern, sneaky, and all that assassin “lone wolf” YA trope isn’t him.

Not only is Neil’s sense of morality vaguely in the grey, and purely dependent on how he feels that day, he is also more fickle than the autumn weather. He is highly unpredictable and performing eccentric methods that have a 50/50 chance of succeeding. Neil has yet to have a long lasting relationship, of any sort, since he has no qualms about deceiving his partners.

In summary: Mafia assassin in dad clothes that may or may not poison you depending on how he feels.

Wears fake glasses just so he can flick people off when pushing up said glasses

Always wears long sleeves and gloves due to him disliking his scars

His eyes are hazel green (central heterochromia #57681A outer ring and #563B14 inner ring)

Signature weapon are garrote wires but proficient in other weaponry

Likes rubber ducks but not actual ducks. Youtube “James Veitch Is A Terrible Roommate” and that is him in a nutshell when it comes to rubber ducks

Knows many diff types of martial arts and kickboxing

Enoys jazz music and finds EDM annoying
