uhh.. it's just a personal hc. i love seeing ppl draw them as toxic couples in a loveless marriage. they're a huge fucking mess (like every other metal gear character lol) and as for sunny... yeah both otacon and snake are really bad at being parents (based on their childhood experiences and how they were influenced by the battlefield). so yeah they suck at being in love with each other, they suck at being parents. the jupiter family is a fucking mess

on a similar note to le previous post, one of the highest compliments evelyn can give someone is " i want to study you. " it means a, she finds the other person interesting enough to catch her attention for a prolonged period of time, b, she trusts them enough to say something like that to them, and c, she respects them enough to tell them upfront and hear their opinion.

technically, the highest compliment she can give someone is " your intellect matches mine / your mind is like mine / you're just as smart as me. " although...she hasn't ever said this to another human being.
