Harry Potter - I don't even care that everyone will go 'urgh' at me saying it, because its so true. I read the first harry potter when i was 4, these books shaped who i am. 

Does poetry count? Poetry counts. W H Auden, collected works - favourite poet, jeez these poems got to me

Farseer Trilogy, Tawny Man Trilogy and The Fitz and The Fool series (so far) by Robin Hobb - these are all linked and follow each other, it didnt feel right to put them separately. Possibly my favourite fantasy series. I cannot describe the sheer awesome of these books

Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman - just read it. Its so good. The best book recommendation I've ever received. 

The Fault In Our Stars by John Green - yeah yeah predictable. I don't love this book for the love story, which is awesome cos people with cancer still have lives and its great for showing that, but not why I love it. I love this book because it accurately says how i feel about my health. I relate to Hazel far too much.

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury - YES BOOKS I especially love the way academics have whole books in their heads and GAH its so good

I'm The King Of The Castle by Susan Hill - i can't believe i'm saying this but, oh well. This book stayed with me long after i finished studying it

Jonathon Livingston Seagull  by Richard Bach - Just wow. N O    W O R D S

Catcher in the Rye by J D Salinger - I cannot write how much this book influenced me i really can't i love it so much

4.48 Psychosis by Sarah Kane and Pool (no water) by Mark Ravenhill - (i know this is two but they fit together as one in my head) these two plays express parts of me that i'd never express myself except in my own writing. It's scary. But fabulous.
