Young Stevie didn’t grow up in the richest household in the world, but ever since he was very young he had a want - a need for the finer things in life. Whether it be gold, silk, diamonds or just plain old cash the kid seemed drawn to it, no matter where it got him caught up. While it stayed simply as him stopping for pennies more often than the average youngster when he was little nowadays it’s turned him into quite the thief, having no qualms about taking what he’d like for himself even if it belongs to another. Even if it’s off a store shelf.

This has also given him a bit of a manipulative streak, using a lot of his natural charm to weasel his way into a not-so-lucky boy or man’s wallet just to skimp them out of fifty bucks or so. For this reason he’s not very good at maintaining genuine friendships, even though he’s on the popular side and definitely one with a quite massive group of people who’d call him a friend. He’s not playing all of them, no, but the vast majority of those who associate with Stevie should probably keep a lock on their wallet when he’s around.

The one set of people he’s never stolen from, however, would be his family. Knowing full well they need the money just as much as he does he sees no reason to pull the money out of his parents’ and siblings’ pockets, that money simply being one dollar less to spend on the light bill. He also doesn’t steal from his family due to an immense amount of respect for the people who raised him, especially his older brother Sam.

It’s likely because of Sam that Stevie maintains some heart. Sam’s instilled a lot of his natural wit into him, though Stevie’s is a much more biting and clever style of wit than Sam’s geeky charm. He looks up to his older brother, both as something to strive for and something to keep in mind. As long as he can still see a bit of Sam in him, he hasn’t gone off the deep end yet.

Stevie’s sexuality has never been a secret, it being a common joke on his end that he’d been gay since he first left the womb. The act of being born was enough to scar him off women for the rest of his life. Despite this though he’s yet to have a genuine relationship - one that doesn’t involve him getting punched in the face over stealing jewelry that belonged to the guy’s mother.

Mason’s parents have always been very MIA in he and Madison’s life. They’re always on tour and when they aren’t on tour they’re using their kids as centerpieces to show off. It’s not that they aren’t kind, they are, but they also aren’t very nurturing.

His twin sister is his best friend, but she’s also been more of a mom than their own mom has been so it’s led to some issues with needing space he hasn’t been able to bring himself to address yet.

They had a nanny growing up, Nanny Lily, for when their parents were on tour but they also did a fair bit of traveling with the kids and she’d come with them.

The McCarthys are loaded but Mason does his best not to broadcast that fact, as does Madison.

He still hasn’t fully figured out what he wants to do with his life so he fills his time with club after club, activity after activity, in hopes of figuring out what really sticks.

There’s no one at Dalton that doesn’t know who Jeff Sterling is. Loud, playful, with the bright blond hair that matches his personality. Jeff’s very popular within the walls of Dalton and there’s no one that has a bad word to say about him. He makes friends quickly and goes out of his way to help people, which is another reason why he’s so liked.

Everyone thinks his is life mostly sunshine and laughter, and Jeff doesn’t do anything to prove  them otherwise, though his relationship with his family wasn’t as perfect as everyone seemed to think. Jeff has a very difficult relationship with his mother, who had him at a critical point in her life. Finding out she was pregnant at a point where her career was skyrocketing was difficult to accept, and losing the momentum in her career to carry him to term is the reason their relationship is so hard. Their relationship was never one of a mother and son, and lately it’s getting harder to manage those bitter feelings she has towards Jeff’s existence, and Jeff has no problem biting back. Now there’s baby twins in the family, who were definitely planned and Jeff knows his mother loves them way more than she does Jeff, and their relationship is getting even more strained.

He loves his baby siblings, though, and they’re the reason Jeff makes an effort to go home every odd weekend. He wants to be a good big brother for them, be a good example. His dad helps him manage things his mother when he’s at home, but it’s hard to deal with his feelings of being unwanted, even though his dad was the most caring parent someone could be and never made Jeff feel anything but loved.

Jeff’s not really sure what he wants to do with his future. He loves to dance and is planning on applying to different dance schools, but there’s part of him that wants to pick up his bags and travel all the way to Los Angeles to try his luck. He loves dancing, but he loves to make other people happy with his dancing even more. He already teaches a weekly dance class to young children in a nearly by studio, he just wants to be able to spread that feeling to more people.

Nick was a really shy kid growing up, he never really had friends preferring to keep to himself, that was a big reason his parents sent him to dalton, they had assumed that being at a boarding school would force him to come out of his shell a little bit at least and for the most part they were right. Dalton for the most part made him more outgoing, and while he still was fairly quiet and had his moments of wanting to keep to himself he’s like a completely different person than he was as a kid.

Nick loves performing with the warblers but it’s not something he wants to follow career wise, for now its something fun for him to do in high school but he can’t see himself following through with it for the rest of his life. Whether it’s because of a lack of confidence in his ability or just not wanting to feel the pressure of it for the rest of his life is hard to tell, if he’s honest it’s a mix of both.

Nick hasn’t actually come out, he hasn’t one out of his way to hide his sexuality but he isn’t bold about it either. He probably won’t ever do an ‘official’ coming out, if he’s dating a guy he wouldn’t hide it, he just wouldn’t announce it. Part of that is because of his quite personality and part of it is because he just doesn’t care.

Nick smokes cigarettes on occasion, he does his best to hide it from his friends knowing that they’d probably give him crap for it, and he knows it’s bad, its a stress relief for him. He tries not to make a habit of it the best he can but he usually ends up having to stop buying them in order to stop, he’ll stay away from them for a few weeks and then something will stress him out again and he’ll buy another pack.

Nick overworks himself always, he puts way to much emphasis on his schoolwork and grades, the idea of getting anything but an A on anything is terrifying to him, no one puts the pressure on him, even his parents tell him to relax and that he’s smart enough to not have to stress out so much but he doesn’t listen to– or anyone really.

Sam Evans is as loyal as they come. His family and friends are the most important thing to him and he’s always there to support them. When his family fell on hard times, he did everything he could to take care of them. His dad has a job now, but he still works part time at a comics shop to help them out.

When senior year rolled around, Sam decided he wanted to make it his best one yet. He’d moved around so much during his high school years and he was really glad to be back where he considered home. So he decided to run for senior class president. Sure, he wasn’t the smartest guy in school, at least book wise. But people liked him a lot and when he put his mind to it, he came up with some pretty creative ideas for the student body. He asked his friends to help him with his campaign and actually managed to win and now he was putting his all into.

Between student council, glee, football, his job, and school work, Sam stayed pretty busy, but he liked it that way. He didn’t like to be bored and it just meant he got to spend more time with awesome people.

Sam’s love of superheroes and comics has gotten him really into drawing and art recently. His art teacher seems to think he has talent too, which he always like to hear, since it’s rare to hear from his other teachers.

He has an older brother who attended Dalton and is currently a Warbler. He holds himself to high standards wanting to do just as well as Steven. Currently his bother has been offered a scholarship to Stanford, and Skylar wants nothing more than to follow the family tradition of attending the Ivy League school.

Skylar loves dance more than anything. Although he can sing he’d much rather be dancing, but when he gets a chance to do both he’s in absolute heaven.

Skylar always has a high amount of respect for his teachers and elders. Whenever he’s around them he always stands straight with his head held high. However, he’s not scared to defend himself or his friends to those that doubt or belittle them. Even if it’s someone he should respect.

Skylar grew up with a very well off family, and they all knew it. However he was raised to appreciate what he was given and not complain about the chances he was offered. Please and thank you were always words that were used in his house, and manners was an important part of growing up.

Skylar has a knee problem, passed down from his mom. It’s not uncommon in his family for them to have bad knees, and he’s just one of the many that happened to get the gene. However, it doesn’t stop him considering he just needs to throw on a brace and he’ll be good as new. Some days are great where he doesn’t need his brace at all, however others he can feel the pain in every step even with all the extra support.

Skylar values tradition. Tradition is something he believes shouldn’t be changed, because it’s been the same for so long. He hates the idea of change, so the traditions are the only thing he can constantly count on for staying the same.

As a child of a working single mother, Joanna had to grow up rather quickly compared to her peers. Though having her brother around at times, he was always what you’d call a wildcard, and she never really knew where she stood with him. This in turn led her to become more worrisome at a younger age, not being the one to take things very lightly. Which also made her become very independent since she had to fend for herself very often, and this was both for the better, and for the worse. She doesn’t keep in touch with her brother at all these days, and has no idea where he is. As for her father, she only knows what her mother has told her about him, which are three things, that it’s not Noah’s father, he’s a useless deadbeat, and that he’s probably somewhere in Florida.

One thing that kept her from breaking, was that she could always turn to music, whether it be singing, or simply listening to one of her favorite songs, Joanna always felt herself being able to escape from her worries whenever music was playing, or sung. Which is why she’s incredibly intrigued with joining the Glee club, having heard great things about it from her brother when she was a bit younger. Though she fears what it would do to her reputation as a Cheerio of course.

Though she’s far from ruthless, Joanna is known to be rather complicated to say the least. She’s not afraid to be honest to the point where it’s brutal regarding other people’s feelings, but when it comes to her own, she likes to be a bit more reserved and keep it to herself. She’s not usually the person to say or express how she feels, unless it’s through song.

For all of his life the most important person to Hunter would be his father, to him his elder being the pinnacle of what a man should be in life. Confident, strong, loyal, protective. The most important values to Hunter - those of which he held to himself once he was old enough to comprehend. His father held all of them as well as being an exemplary military man, as well as the perfect parent to his sons.

Hunter quickly realized as he got older though that perfection seemed to have an end point. His father’s uglier side started showing - his bigoted views and tendency towards spouting them off around his wife and children. Hunter learned quickly that the worst thing he could be in his father’s eyes was weak, and acting anything less than the perfect masculine, straight as a rod son would screw up this great thing they had going. He wanted to remain the apple of his father’s eye, so he did.

At least, he did as best as he could. He did have a few slip ups back in his old boarding school - or six. Truth be told if his father knew of what his son got up to in his cot he might have a heart attack. Hunter left that life behind in Colorado, however, trying to keep truer to his word now that his father would be staying closer to his school - right down the street to be exact.

So back to the closet Hunter ran, and in that closet was where he’d remain. Who knows if he’ll be able to keep himself in check this time around.
