A nickel mirror engraved with an image of Amida Buddha (阿弥陀如来) accompanied by his two attendants Kannon Bodhisattva (観音菩薩) and Seishi Bodhisattva (勢至菩薩) descending to escort the departed faithful back to his western pure land
Dating probably towards the latter years of the Heian period (794-1185), excavated in 1963 from the Keigamine Sutra Mounds (経ヶ峯経塚) near Kongōshōji Temple (金剛證寺) on Mount Asamagatake (朝熊ヶ岳) in Ise, Mie Prefecture
