My Lullaby ~

My piece for the @infernalcornerzine <3 I wanted to thank you SO much for allowing me to be a part of my very first Zine. I feel so privileged to be a part of something so fun and exciting!
Inspired by Zira from The Lion King 2 and her song 'My Lullaby'. Initially, I really wanted to do something that was more hinted towards Scar, as I feel Raphael and Scar are very alike. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the groove and nothing would work with me, so this became my inspiration instead. :3 With souls instead of termites to surround a lovely ascended Raphael in Avernus (the scenery fitted so well!).
Am I happy with the end piece? Unfortunately, no >: Losing my usual art programme and having to figure out how to use another one came with its challenges, as did time. Challenging myself with Ascended Raph was ALSO something new for me. But I'm thrilled to still have been a part of this Zine, and it's made me really look forward to perhaps opting in for more in the future <3 I should have trusted my guts and went with something Raphlep tho XD lol.
A wonderful experience and I hope to challenge myself more often when it comes to my comfort zone. Thank you SO MUCH to everyone at the Zine for featuring my work, not only within the Zine itself, but on your promo pics as well <333 Such an amazing, lovely and talented group of people!
