my dogs just got out.

they are both, 12 years old.

One is riddled with skin cancer issues (theyre twelve, so by this point its up to nature god bless them)

One, has a broken leg, and her foot is currently healing from a dog bite. (our youngest dog is rowdy, she didnt mean to hurt mama)

i am, half a decent leg.

they went all the way down to the fucking woods, i mean clear about a mile down. so im toddling behind trying to find them. getting some nostalgia bc i used to live down the road years back.

well, i get to the field and here comes dallas wagging his ass own down the fucking cotton field. happy as can be. comes straight to me.

but leah? no no no. leah decided that this is her final journey aroudn the fields. she went, ALL THE WAY around, booking it too, mustve.

bc after searching the woods, being led into something foul by the big ass whiney baby, we walk all the way back. and there she is. sittin pretty at the front door.

they are exhausted, ruby is confused as hell, and my fucking FOOT HURTS...

but they are home, and safe, and loved.
