@shellshead said: There's a cup of coffee waiting by his usual seat when he walks into the teacher's lounge; it's decorated with a red bow and has a note attached to it. If he's close enough, he will see a small dedication on the note: 'For Aizawa' no 'san' or 'kun' or anything; Tony is far too American for that. And if Aizawa turns the note around, the note reads: 'I also refilled the coffee in the cabinet. Merry Christmas 😘'
the tag’s caught between his fingers. thumb & index pressing into the note as he reads over the scribbled script. huh ------. a knee knocks into the wood of the table as he first leans into it before shifting enough to see the bulk of the cabinets. where allegedly, if the note’s to be believed, stark had restocked hizashi’s cache. he doesn’t check ---- doesn’t see a need too, but it does lead him down the already presumed notion that there’s more than meets the eye when it came to the hothead. a smirk forms as he puts the little tab back onto the cup before promptly picking it up & taking a much-needed drag.
it’s not bad ---- far from it in fact. & in whole, it’s something he does appreciate on a base level. there’s nothing to be said about the lack of honorifics. what someone calls him has never been something he much bothered with. so, if that’s what stark wanted to address him by, then so be it. no harm no foul.
there is, however, a moment where aizawa contemplates over what to do next in regards to paying him back. taking a few extra minutes than originally planned, aizawa makes another cup, grabs the breakfast that’d been forced upon him from a local bakery & heads out the door ------ down the hall & directly into the early class stark’s supposed to be leading. he leaves both. a sticky note pilfered from the desk & leaves a simple thanks in response stuck to bag.
afterwards, aizawa finds himself in his own classroom. already bundled & snoozing in his bag with the now half drank coffee sat upon his desk
