    oh thank god, someone her own age. sophia manages not to say that part out loud. she’s wearing minnie mouse pajama pants and a tank top, hands shoved into the pockets of the former. 

    “i heard there’s a lazy river at this place. i’m wearing a swimsuit under here. i wanna go be lazy. in a river.”

   the final battle with thanos and his army had been a brutal one. it was a miracle tony had managed to live. unfortunately, however, the infinity stones had scorched his arm to an extent it could not be repaired. tony, however, would say he was rocking his new prosthetic. (he loathed to admit missing an arm tore him in ways he couldn’t describe.)

   doctor cho had declared him bedridden until his strength renewed. as restless as he was, he had to agree. even though days had passed, moving felt like more of a chore than anything. today, however, was going to finally be a good one. the others finally agreed to let him see his daughter. he had missed her.

      seeing morgan for the first time in days gave a sense of relief he didn’t think was possible. affection settled in his chest, causing a small but genuine smile.
