Angela Chen is releasing a book exploring what it means to be asexual in a world that considers sex to be directly tied in with humanity. would someone please explain why not being attracted to a certain race is racist? like, you could think that, say, east asian people are attractive people but not be sexually attracted to them. isn't sexual attraction an instinctual thing anyways, cause you're attracted to people who would create a kid with the strongest possible immune system and greatest health. so like maybe you're not attracted to a certain race sexually because people from the same region have similar immune systems to each other, but not the same as people from another region just because of how they've adapted to their own environment. and maybe that certain group of people wouldn't create the healthiest kids with you
