Jon almost snorts, “and how long have you been planning for this outcome?” he asks, crossing his arms, a smile dancing upon his lips, “did you create the opportunity for him to cross the limit?”

Sansa looks him in the eye “Why, I don’t know what you are talking about, Your Grace. Would you blame the carpenter who built the door the thief burgled?”

There's been how many attempts to dethrone/kill Jon!?! No wonder Sansa stresses about Arya staying to protect not only Rickon but everything they fought to protect and rebuild so far. Before some lord forgets himself, unable to see the bigger picture and pit a Stark against one another.

Oh the sorrow of seeing the pack separate again after finally establishing themselves together. Jon going back north and Sansa south. At least Arya and Rickon knwo better than when they were younger, still, sometimes having more knowledge just opens doors to new danger. Wonder which lording will be the first to strike my boy LIVING Rickon. (Finally a conformation!!)

Wonder how alliances will be made when Jon has made it clear that Sansa will not be used again and he has no intentions of marrying. (Jon you little closet romantic you~~) He's so agreeable with her one other matters until it regards to her safety and happiness, and then he's all commanding and I'm like yes dadd- Jon. *cough* Yes Jon.

Yes, it was 4 attempts to dethrone him.

Littlefinger was attempting (at the time) to dethrone Jon, by seeding doubts about the true war Jon spiels about with the lords, to install Sansa in his place. Sansa lulls him in a sense of false security, she collects evidence, gathers informations and creates bonds with the Knights of the Vale (namely through Lord Royce) and puts up the farce of the trial to Arya. Then she comes out and self confess her role in letting LF go free despite killing lady Arryn. They kill LF.

Bolton loyalists (admits the servants) attempt on Jon’s life but Sansa and Arya were already aware and Arya saves Jon’ life.

Cersei sends assassins after Sansa and Jon (it’s around this time that Rickon returns).

A wildling clan, installed in the lands near the Dreadfort attacks the keep to raid it, Jon and Sansa travel to it and Jon tries to sooth the dispute, so the chieftain of the clan challenges him, but during the combat they cheat and try to kill him and Sansa discovers that some Bolton’ loyalists (precisely a distant bastard cousin) are trying to rally their forces against the Starks. Which is why Brienne was at the Dreadfort when this begins.

So, this is about the four attempts to dethrone Jon. Which yes, explains why Sansa is so bent on having someone stay in Winterfell with Rickon, who yes, is very much alive.

I know, I know…if it can console you, they’ll be together soon, give or take some chapters in between.

Yes, Jon basically lets Sansa decide on everything, but can get very stubborn and dominant when it’s about her prospects and happiness. Fight him, Jon’d gladly throw fists over it.

Also yes, Rickon is alive and as wild and savage as he should be, thank you and amen.

Nu-uh no spoilers on how the alliance will, if it will, be made. 😉 you’ll have to read it to discover it for yourself!

“Vengeance is a double edged blade of one doesn’t remember that it doesn’t quite coincide with justice.” Might be too early to tell but so far, I’m really hoping she makes a great ally based on this line alone. Really want her and Sansa to get along even though it’s probably unlikely given the political states right now, but may be after everything is settled and if they survive, a potential match with dorne? Or like Ned fostering at the vale? Their kids could foster sometimes in winterfell and sometimes in dorne - wow look at me already jumping to the end! I can’t help it the writer in me is like, make a fan fic of a fan fic!! That’s how enamoured I am with your stories 😝😝

also Jon named Sansa his HAND!!!! Without context that sounds weird. Anyways, often Sansa is granted the title as lady of winterfell or princess but now also has another role!! Why have I never thought of this, perhaps I just knew they’d be king and queen eventually that I glossed over the steps to get there. Arya also being commander of his battle guard 🥹 bran maybe in a master of whispers?? Rickon please be alive and you can be the coin master because Sansa is hopeless with sum, just kidding Jon has been practicing in castle black for this moment 😂😂

There must always be a stark in winterfell, I wonder who will stay? Arya to hold down castle defences or will she go with Jon as commander of battle guard? Jon for his safety as king in the north or go to solidifying trust? Sansa like last time to keep things in order and as lady of winterfell, or will she join as the hand of the northern king? *whispers* would be solved if rickon was still here, haha digging for a spoiler

Also yes, Arianne is very headstrong but she’s highly adaptable and like the Starks she has quite the example. Both Doran and Oberyn were prime examples of her conclusion that vengeance is a double edged sword but she also learned from them to be fair and still be ruthless enough to do what is needed.

I think she’d either be a great ally or a dangerous enemy.

My lips are sealed, I won’t give ya any spoilers as to how the alliance will, if it will, come to be.

But ehi the new chapter shall be here soon, and we’ll see more of the North and of KL.

darling, I’m in bliss. Not only did you deliver but the whole built up, the transition between povs, subtle telling of what differs from canon and the new timeline without feeling like an info dump. It’s just Snow kisses perfect. Normally I devour all your new release as soon as it’s out the gate but this one, this one I savoured. No mad rush to the ending. I’d read a scene or a line again and again. Of D’s council, of the changes made,m, the slain freys, the starks coming together, and the drone reaching out. I’d pause and think of what’s to come next, catch and foreshadowing that I might connect in future chapters. This one I sat with for a while. This one I forced myself to take my time with, to prolong the joy.

It’s been 3 years since the Starks reunited?!? Does that mean they’ve held down Winterfell for about a year now? Since I assume gathering an army and the battle of the bastards took at least 2?

Has there been a parental reveal yet because I’m weak at how soft Jon and Sansa’s interactions are!! And oh that twist ending of a north and south team up!!! Can’t wait for the next chapter

My heart is racing though, no mention of little Rickon… nope on only positive thoughts right now. Keep the high of a new Jonsa story be gone bad thoughts!

Yeah, I’ve given them breathe to grow and the dynamics to set and form so I have chosen to give them three years since reuniting. They’ve waged war for a little over a year (between going to the noble houses and then laying siege on Winterfell) so they’ve held it back for a year and half circa. Which is why most of the works for rebuild what needs to be strengthened are still ongoing.

No, no parental reveal yet. Bran has just reappeared at the Wall so they yet have no way of knowing. That is all them acting soft with one another, but still believing they are siblings.

I'm awestruck by the first chapter of your new story. Did not expect to see Dany as the opening chapter and her conquering king's landing no less!! And some of the starks having already reunited, oh gosh how i do adore that mind of yours, please let me peak in side just a tad bit!!

Dany thinking she can burn her problems away, girl me too but they always find you specially when its about money. Although, oddly I get what she means. Why pay a debt she did not incur however it was inquired by the throne she sits. It's like taking a loan from your company and the CEO changes the loan is tied to the company not the person.

Absolutely adore you interweaving some of their original lines, it feels so authentic and in character too.  

No ruler on the Iron throne can hope to hold the North without the Starks, it’s to big, too wild, the northerners listen only to their own,” This line has me by the throat.

"Sansa does not know how he knows, when she’s starved for touch, when she needs his touch, but he does. And he always rises to the challenge" Sansa being touch starved is so real it made me so sad, Don't worry baby girl, jon will touch you all you want... brotherly of course....

And the ending was just the charry on top of everything wasn't. To see house Stark and house Martell unite. Two kingdoms from opposite ends of Westero. The land of winter and the land of summer. Side note I liked playing with the idea of sansa ending up with someone from Drone although Jon was born there haha.

This was a while ride thank you for taking us on it! Can't wait for more m'lady!!

Yes, it felt right to begin with Daenerys, for some reason, and with her taking the city. I think this is the Dany chapter amongst all of my stories in which I nailed something as similar to bookDany and I am very proud of how it came out. Making her relatable to our “not wanting to bow down our heads to things we don’t like” but also wearing her entitlement and feeling she’s unique and powerful and right on her sleeve. Yes, Dany, you have dragons but there’s a reason there are only three dragons in the world right now. Don’t be so cocky.

Yes, Sansa don’t worry you are touch starved but one of Jon love languages is touch, so you’re fine there. Of course brotherly, because he knows how to act brotherly okay? He just doesn’t want to.

Arianne reaching out to the Starks felt so right to me. Especially as this is a mix of show canon (Ellaria, baby I am so sorry for the way the show handed your character and I am sorry I am perpetrating that. Remember: Ellaria was against having more revenge because revenge doesn’t end injustice. It just perpetrates it) Arianne wants to fight against those who killed her father and brothers and the Starks want independence and would not like to bend the knee to a Targaryen who bases her right to rule on her mad father and equally cruel brother (yes I stand by Rhaegar being an idiot who abandoned wife and children to seduce and then sequester a little girl to father a child off her which would kill her).

They are natural allies.

My heart skipped a beat when I refreshed the jonsa tag and say a story with "tales of the white wolf..." didn't finish reading clicked on the update so fast thinking it was you and as I read I noticed it was not you but I wanted to believe it was so I kept going till I eventually had accept it wasn't an update from you. And was actually one of those harem Jon with the magic D.... dragon, yup I meant magic dragon.
