hear me out on trans girl rald you guys - ive always had the hc that she identified as a girl and she liked contests and such when she was younger, but when moved with her abusive family members she was shamed for it and turned to battling (the reason she was so put off when she met ruby!) however, upon meeting the dexholders and crystal in particular she began to truly become who she really was.
