“GYAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!~~~~~~~~~~~”
The roaring rampage of unleashed fury across it’s voice as the sleepy eyes of the passed out trainer was awoken by his large, twenty one foot alarm clock of a hungry sea serpent. He stretched, slowly standing up as he was resting against the back of a tree, rubbing his eyes before looking up to his pokemon companion.
[ ] “You are up early, Fizz. Stomach wake you up huh? “ [ ]
And he was met with a large swirling wave of water from the large aquatic dragon looking pokemon, as he comically guzzled water out of his mouth from being splashed on. He shook his hair, glaring up as he stomped his foot. [ ] “What was that for, huh?! Oii! If you want food, don’t throw a tantrum at me!” [ ] He said, glaring back as the two were “leering” each other down, before the pinkette caved, going into his backpack to begin to throw a pill inside of a rather large bowl. Gently, he put a special little drop onto it from a vial, as the pill began to erupt into a large pile of pokemon food, catering to a rather large stomach like a gyrados had. The aquatic pokemon then began to eat happily.
Drying off by changing clothes, it was time for his own food. Taking out some bread and peanut butter, he made himself a quick sandwich. Chowing down with glee, he noticed shifting in the branches behind him. He and fizz both noticed, as he backed up to stand near his partner, as the two were ready for anything.
“Look, who is there! Wanna fight?! Come on out!”

Truthfully, Phoebe hadn't put a lot of effort in with Foster's friends the way he had with hers. She wished she could say it wasn't for a lack of trying, but honestly, Phoebe hadn't tried. She had seen the flyers for Theo's equestrian centre, had been meaning to go visit and smooth over their last encounter, but kept stopping herself. Maybe it was because she hadn't seen Theo and Foster in the context of interacting with each other, not sure how their dynamic played out and if Phoebe would be more the fool for befriending the other woman if her intentions with the chef were more than friendly.
Ash, however, was a different story. They seemed quiet, not unlike Foster, but overall nice, even if the few times they've interacted consisted with him in the middle, them on one side minding their business, and Phoebe on the other, yapping away and eventually letting the two of them do their own thing, like back during Summerween when it was clear the news intern was more into it than Ash or Foster. But there hadn't been too much one-on-one time between them, and Phoebe decided to remedy it.
The Labyrinth wasn't usually somewhere she ventured out to, but she needed a change of scenery from O'Shea's. And this bar was a much more relaxing, quiet environment she hoped Ash would appreciate. "Hey! Thanks for meeting me!" She greeted when she spotted them walk through the door, standing up and waving them over. "I, uh, was gonna order you something but I didn't know what you would have liked. They're all a bit...unconventional, here."

Ollie cannot remember half the names he has learned tonight, but the thrum of magic in his bones almost feels like a Song again, and he finds himself having more and more fun as time goes on. People have started to trickle out and it’s easier to be pulled into true conversation with however is left - minor chats about the uses of magic, questions about his choice to settle in this city of all places, subtle prodding into his past.
It’s strange how nice it is to be part of a crowd rather than simply among one. He didn’t realize how much he had missed it from his previous life - constant companionship. He feels like a piece of glitter, floating and twirling in the air. It’s different from Halloween, when all and sundry were out on the town and mingling. The difference is good. He doesn’t have to hide himself with these people. It’s a relief. Unlooked for of course, but Oliver quickly comes to the conclusion that he will need to attend more events like this.
A simple innocuous question points him to the owner of the establishment, and he meanders through the crowd with smiles and greetings to reach them. Drawing near, he senses the touch of their shared circle and gives a second glance. Seemingly unremarkable other than the magic of their being, and so he finishes this glass of water and makes his approach.
“This is a lovely establishment,” he offers with a bright smile. “I understand we have you to thank for hosting such an important event?” There are sure to be more events here, and if Ollie can score some easy invitations, he will.

For a man who typically kept to himself and didn’t give enough of a shit to meddle in anyone else’s affairs, a bouncer seemed like an odd side gig for Sawyer to take on. But for anyone who knew him, it seemed like the perfect fit. By nature, he was ruthless and protective with a penchant for throwing his fists around at a moment’s notice. Getting paid for it was an added bonus, even if Decadence wasn’t his scene. Far from it, actually, but Cal had made it worth his while by lining his pockets with decent cash that he wouldn’t have gotten his hands on otherwise. Tonight, he was earning his paycheck yet again. Striding back inside after tossing out some drunken creep, Sawyer started for the bar but paused suddenly, noting a heated exchange underway back where Ash was stationed and trying to work. Abandoning the idea of a drink— for now— Sawyer made his way over, now able to hear the strings of profanity and slurs blasting from the patron’s lips and slamming into Ash. "Yo— we got a fuckin' problem over here?" Sawyer demanded, slowing to a stop beside the man and quickly sizing him up. Lifting a brow, the biker positioned himself in front of him, cutting off his path to Ash, “Think ya might oughta pack your shit and take it somewhere else, asshole. I’m only gonna tell ya once.” Flicking a quick look over at Ash, Sawyer waved him over, “This shithead givin’ ya trouble?”
