so I found the gifset of this in Asharran's tag and I figured the scene would be perfect in there too.

First sentence: "Why do I feel like there was something I was supposed to remember about today?"

"Why do I feel like there was something I was supposed to remember about today?" Ash thought to himself as he walked down the hall of his childhood home -- his parents were excited he was home on leave, but it seemed like they were keeping a secret from him -- and made his way to his room so he could take a nap before calling Ree.

"Oh, well, I might as well -- what?" Right when he walked in the room, he saw Ree waiting for him in bed, smiling and jumping out to squeeze him.

"Surprise, I've been planning this with your mom and dad for weeks now."

"What happened to you?" Asharran and Ree'ali

"I tried body painting, but it got a little messy..."

"Do you want me to help you clean it off, Ree?"

The little Twi'lek grins up at the Mirialan. "Thought you'd never ask."

"Shower?"

"Shower."

They both grin at each other before Ash scoops up Ree and carries her off to the shower.
