Ignatz always loved the story of Saint Seiros. It was no secret that he adored all of the Saints, but there was something different about the stories of Seiros he had heard. She was said to be kind and gentle, though she was the one to defeat Nemesis.
Every Saint Seiros’ Day, Ignatz would go paint a landscape hoping the Goddess would give him a revelation on the holy day. Of course, he knew that would never happen, but he clung to the false hope that one day the Goddess would appear before him. Easel and canvas in hand, Ignatz left the monastery in search of an incredible view.
Just before he was about to leave the village, a young girl blocked his path.
“Stop right there Nemesis!” The girl pointed her wooden sword at Ignatz. “The great Saint Seiros will defeat you!”
Ignatz tried his hardest not to laugh. Of all the people for her to label as Nemesis, she chose him. He couldn’t help but smile as he knelled down to her level.
“Well... this looks tough. I think I’ll need some backup. Wait right here.” Ignatz did his best to sound like a villain, but made sure it wasn’t too scary. The girl burst into a smile, excited that she found someone to play with her.
Standing back up, Ignatz hurried back to his room to drop off his painting supplies. On his way back, he noticed Ashe sitting on a bench, clearly bored. “Hey Ashe!” Ignatz waved as he ran over. “I need your help with something. How good of a villain can you be?”
