It felt like a lifetime ago since she'd last seen Tony. After finding Bucky, she'd all but disappeared off the face of the earth to help him recover and remove all the programming. Now she wanted to come back and help. If the Accords would actually let her. Steph had all but ignored them in her search for Bucky and now that she'd come back she wasn't certain they wouldn't haul her off to the Raft or worse. Only time would tell and if Stark wouldn't haul her off she might actually have the chance to return to the life she'd had before everything had gone off books.

“Okay, so this is the handbrake and this is the gear shift.” Wanda parroted back as Tony tested her on the anatomy of a car once again. Despite having promised to teach her to drive, she had been sitting in his car for an hour and the engine had not turned on once. Not to mention she was kind of offended he wouldn’t let her drive his sports car. “Can I please turn the engine on now and actually drive? We’re not even leaving the compound.”

❝Keep your eyes closed,❞ Steve breathed into Tony's ear, leading them forward to where he had the surprise waiting. When they arrived, a rather impressive dancing hall greeted them, all sparkling and with TONS of candles lit. A little bit like the scene in Beauty and the Beast.

❝Open 'em!❞ Steve whispered, stepping back to give Tony a little room. ❝We never really got to finish our dance before. Happy birthday, Tony.❞ Though, Steve did love their dancing in the garden.
