I was thinking about the circumstances and the kind of energy the Ash and Raihan fusion would encapsulate or be created in and I was thinking and how Ash is like a fountain of energy and power ready to do the impossible.
And how overwhelming that energy and power could feel to someone who tries to act nonchalantly. And how Ashian would be this dude tettering on borderline feral Pokémon amounts of energy and power and trying to remain being that awesome cool dude. Which got me thinking of Eturnus.
And thus the idea of Rose in a desperate attempt to control all that dymax energy and that colossal Pokémon took Ash, a trainer renowned for his run in with legendary Pokémon and walking away alive. And a Powerful Gum leader who he has experience in controlling and managing, To help control what’s about to be made.

Ashian is trying to play it cool. With little memory and something calling to him it’s a little tricky trying to get help from familiar looking people after breaking out of somewhere. But he’s trying his best to not scare people away with accidental bouts of what could be described as a human using ‘scary face’

My original ‘theory’ would be that some mishap, either scientific or legendary bullshit, happened and both Ash and Raihan can’t get out of the blast zone fast enough like everyone else. Resulting Ashian who as both memories of the two.
Their struck down by a mighty migraine for a few days, more like a week really, and then they have to work out how to control their body when in reality there’s 2 different conscious people technically steering the ship.
