Something I really want to do one day, whether here or elsewhere, is compare the original Sukeban Deka, one of the most notable shojo manga ever, with its current remake drawn by Ashibi Fukui, the Nine Dragons’ Ball Parade/Ano Natsu 1959 author. Like that’s an interesting artist to choose for a remake, and one I feel like could pay off, depending on how strict a remake it is.
