Flipping through the small book in her hands she tried to focus on her upcoming exam she was currently learning for. Her mother left the house an hour ago and her older brother was in college, so she had the house for herself. Hence it was really quiet in that big house so that Meredy decided to turn on all the lamps in every room. Her mother might be angry about the increased electricity bill at the end of the month, but for the moment she didn't care at all.
A sigh escaped her throat and crossed her lips as she rolled over on to her back while she lay on her bed throwing that book in the next corner of her room. She wasn't a bad student. Actually she was one of the best ones of her year. Hence she was quite lonely, hadn't many friends since she was too busy with studying to reach the same level as her intelligent brother. Sometimes it sucked to be the younger sibling, but for now she just wanted to close her eyes and relax a bit. Letting out another sigh she tried to repress all those bothering thoughts about school just to take a short timeout ... as an annoying noise disturbed her oasis of calm. Since the noise didn't seem to stop any time soon Meredy crawled out of her bed trying to figure out where the noise came from. Listening closely she followed the noise back to her window wincing as something was thrown against the glass. What the ... ? As she opened her window she had to take care not to be hit by the rocks which someone randomly throw at her window.
“You alright, down there?”
She asked as her voice sounded a bit worried. This guy looked like a real mess to her right now.
“Would you mind stop throwing pebbles against my window. Not if someone might get hurt by it. This would cause you a lot of trouble.”
