Thanks Ashlyn! I started off trying to draw a small head but i couldn't get the lips right, so I was like I'll just draw some lips off to the side so i can figure this shit out. But then I thought, hey, these lips aren't half bad, I'll just draw a nose. Then that turned into an eye and a bit of shading.
Of course as soon as I posted it I found about a million things wrong with it but that happens. If you aren't critical of the finished product you aren't reaching high enough, eh?

It was purty kewl. We didn't stay very late, had we stayed til 5:30am we could have seen them ethereally float off into the morning sky like flamboyant bloated creatures from another world using their inner light to guide them home.
But I need sleep, so that shit wasn't happening.
So to compensate for missing 5:30am awesomeness I ate three corndogs.

My voice sounds like a death rattle, I'm surely dying this time. That's a sign of impending personal doom right? I feel like I learned about impending doom in nursing school between ileus and impregnate but I can't be sure. You went to Catholic college, you know about doom! Am I doomed?!

I am currently working as a stocker/cashier person. But! I got a call back interview for a therapy assistant position where I would be working with interactive metronome therapy to help kids with ADHD and other learning disabilities. So that's definitely the one I'm more excited about, but hey, money's money.

Yup! He's a 2-3yo brindle bull mastiff mix named Duke (I didn't name him, he came with that name). Some friends of ours got orders to go to Alaska and Duke wouldn't be able to go outside for 8 months out of the year :( so they had to give him away.
They checked Craigslist but all the people who called were really shady. Then they heard about these people who were breaking into homes of people selling dogs on Craigslist and setting the dogs free just to shoot them (I haven't fact checked but with everything going on in Colorado recently I'll take their word for it.)
He's super friendly but has a bit of a socialization problem since his main breed is guard dog. He thinks all other dogs are invading our territory and trying to get me, even the chihuahua across the complex. So we've got him enrolled in classes to help with it, he starts in a couple weeks. Hopefully all goes well.

Because I had only skimmed a synopsis of The Bell Jar and it seemed totally not me. And then I actually read the synopsis in it's entirety and I'm surprised I haven't read this book before with my interest in all things psychology all the time. But I just don't see myself as that dramatic.
And then MJ couldn't be any farther from Esther, and yet the internet djinn says that they are on in the same in my psyche, witchcraft!
