My OC Murdock and some other animal sketches/doodles
Sketch dump of one of my OCs, Murdock.
A little bit of his story ↓
Murdock's an old, swing-dancing, gentle, and peace-loving grandfather.
A long time ago, he had a betrothed, who was a soldier, and together they'd opened up a cozy botanical store. There was a field of flowers behind the shop, carefully planted in such a way as to create a peaceful labyrinth, one to dance with a partner through till the end, where a beautiful outlook of the landscape was visible.
Eventually, Murdock's lover loses their life defending their country, and now, Murdock continues to live in his little shop and care for his grandchild, giving a flower to any travelers passing by. He still remembers the song and dance through the labyrinth of flowers, and finds himself at ease, his lover's ghost always waltzing beside him with a warm embrace.
