9. One of our characters get terribly sick 

       ‘ stay back, ash. i’ve fallen deathly ill. ‘ a dramatic sigh left her lips as she draped herself on the chaise in her private room. truthfully, she hadn’t been ill since she had been turned, given one couldn’t really get sick when they were already dead, but there were strange conditions one could be afflicted by anyway.

       ‘ i think it might have been something i ate. ‘ she sighed, staring at the ceiling. ‘ i feel i’ve gone pale and i’m cold to the touch. ‘

6. Our characters are part of a hostage situation

          maybe it was because she had spent so much time around hollywood vampires, she forgot the exact kind of obsessed fans were lurking in the shadows. for being simply very dedicated humans, she was amazed how easily one had been able to incapacitate two vampires. that did not stop her from being annoyed that she had been roped into this mess by virtue of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. she almost preferred the vampire hunters over being an unwelcome third wheel in whatever was happening.

         ‘ have you ever seen misery? do you think she’s going to break your ankles so you won’t escape? ‘ thalia murmured, wearily glancing towards the motel bathroom where the captor was freshening up. ‘ i’m a little worried about what that means for me. ‘

i’ve been watching a play through of the game my character’s from and in the first episode the player was just like “i’ve been watching tvd recently so ima name my character caroline” and i just have to say that watching that and imagining tvd caroline as a 2004 ( mildly gothy ) vampire, going through that storyline and reaching the crescendo of the plot by full on kicking asses and taking names through a high rise building was Absolutely Wonderful and I hope you feel better soon <3

36. a gas station

her second worst nightmare has come true. somehow ruby has ended up in a town full of almost nothing but hunters. this means hidden devil’s traps inside the doorway of every store, drinks laced with holy water, and iron threaded through places no one would expect. a town engineered to bite her in the ass. so her first call, to ash, sounds something like this:

“can you meet me at the gas station on the corner of 4th and williamson? i can’t go inside, and i really need booze. please? i’m desperate.”
