Ashvara let out a surprised gasp as Vector’s slim frame pushed heragainst the door, his hands on her hips as he pulled her into a deepkiss, Ashvara feeling her head bump lightly against the doorframe.

Ashvara giggled as he pulled back, placing a green hand on his cheek,“What was that for?”

“We have been waiting to do that all day,” She was sure she couldsee a glint in his black eyes,

“Oh?”

“Yes,” Vector reached up pulling Ashvara’s hair out of it’sbun smiling softly as brown curls tangled around her shoulders, “Wehave enjoyed meeting your family but,”

“You feel like being a bit selfish?” “Yes we do likehaving you all to ourselves,” His hands ran down her sides his leanfingers lifting up her thigh. Ashvara grinned sliding her fingersinto his hair, letting out a pleased sign as she felt her body pressagainst his. “So are you taking me to bed or?” She grinneda hand shifting from his neck to his collar and opening his shirtjust enough to reveal a very tempting bit of skin.

“We will try to restrain ourselves,” Vector grinned beforeplacing his lips to her neck as he hooked her legs a bit firmeraround his waist, “We do have all night,”

Itwas the last thing she should’ve been looking at right now, this was nothingmore but a distraction. And distractions could kill you and yet…

“Agent?”Vector’s now very familiar voice with it’s comforting almost melodic tonereached Ashvara’s ears. Somehow he was able to take the word ‘agent’ and makeit sound human.

“Oh,”Ashvara swallowed, not a very ‘Ciphery’ thing to do, but she found in hispresence sometimes that ‘Cipher’ guise would drop, just a bit and it bothreassured and concerned her in equal measure.

“Iassume we need to be moving soon?”

“Ahyes I need to report to…” Dammit who was it? The name was… there and not and…

“Areyou well?” Vector tilted his head, “Your aura does seem slightly unsettled,”

Ashvarashook her head, “I…” she couldn’t seem to at this point put her ‘Cipher’ voiceback on and that was concerning her, “Sorry I was slightly distracted,” Shesighed and gently touched the plant at her feet, before crouching down “Bythis…”

Thesmall plant looked to most people’s eyes totally dead, something that wouldbefore too long rot away or be blown into the wind. A mass of shrivelled leavesand thorny branches. “I haven’t seen this exact plant before but I know of onethat looks similar to this and it-“

“Itis not dead?” Vector crouched beside her, “I can… sense it’s aura, it’s song isquiet, resting,”

Ashvarapaused, “Yes… this plant or ones like it they seem to ‘die’ for a while and canbe revived with water,”

Vectorgave her one of those brief smiles, “I assume this is not an element of typicalCipher training?”

“No…I… before,” She sighed, feeling her chest tighten briefly at the memory, “Mymother loved plants, we kept many in the house and she had a plant like this, Ican’t remember where it came from, and that would seemingly stay ‘dead’ untilit received water, and it could be ‘resurrected’’ many times, this caught myattention due to the toxic nature of the water here making me wonder just how…”

Vectorgently touched a gloved finger to the plant, “Resilience knows no bounds,” andfor a brief moment looked at her.

“Okyeah… sorry we need to get going…” Ashvara stood to her feet.
