In other news, while I can separate actors from roles and he has aged out of playing Kit of my Ashwell Park story fame, it's still very weird seeing Sam Claflin portraying fascist shitstain Oswald Mosley on Peaky Blinders because of it.

Given the time-frame the show takes place in, when I read that Sam Claflin would be on Peaky Blinders, I thought I might get some Kit Marsden (of Ashwell Park fame) vibes out of it, even if I’ve come to realise that that story is basically shelved forever.
Yet, for many reasons, I don’t and I’m glad for it because it would be very weird to get them as he plays Oswald Mosley, noted British fascist.
I was looking for something in my computer and found another typed part of Ashwell Park.
While there are bits that make me cringe in a very deep level, I can’t help but be engrossed. I don’t know if derives from the fact that reading can be indeed a sort of blanket for me or because I love these damn characters so much. I would like to publish it someday but I’m afraid that even after all the editing it does have to undergo it won’t ever be good enough/marketable enough to warrant that kind of interest.
Considering that I fancasted (sp?) Freddie Highmore as Frederick Weatherby, Viscount Ashwell, the heir apparent to the Earldom of Rossworth, it’s kind of odd seeing him play Norman Bates, slowly getting to being the most Norman Bates-y we know.
He’s doing a hell of a job.
As I scrolled down my dash I saw a picture of Emma Stone and thought 'She looks so June Carter-Wilton-ish *-*' and then when I go for the reblog I notice that it was a post I had queued and the tag said exactly the same.
Considering that Essie has been her best friend for years, in part I don't think June and Harry would be welcoming Essie to their stately house with all the servants lined up in front of the main door.
It doesn't strike me much as their style but on the other hand I could churn out some more words if I wrote them to.
I've been away so I wasn't aware of the news regarding Matthew Goode being on Downton for Christmas ( or for even longer) but it is already killing me - you know that he'd also be part of the cast of Ashwell Park (which is set in 1923, close enough), if I were given all the powers in the world.
I apologise in advance for all the #fandomofone posts regarding it.
I have Essie and Kit laughing for no reason in a train for 5 paragraphs.
This is obviously a great book in the making.
