Can This Love Be Translated: Sidereal Exalted Moon Fallacy / Mrigasira & Ashwni
I've explained many times before that according to IRL experiences & observations, Taurus natives frequently face discrimination and violence from their family. (read here & here) This also relates to the fixed star Aldebaran most famously known for blood & violence.
We see this to be true for Cha Mu-hee played by Go youn-jong in CTLBT who has natal moon-venus in Taurus. After her mother kills her father and she survived her mom's attempt to kill her too, her uncles take her in and she lies that she doesn't remember anything because she's scared that they might not accept her. Although they do accept her, they treat her very poorly all throughout her childhood and she's basically outcasted. Her mother also says "It's impossible for you to be happy" right before she escapes, which becomes embedded in her psyche and causes her to believe that nobody will love her.
I got spooked at that scene because I know a Taurus moon native irl who has heard similar things from her mother.
I also talked about how Rohinis experience strong rejections at least once in their life, and one thing that drove the viewers crazy in this drama is how she kept confessing her feelings to Ho-jin and got rejected multiple times; she has Rohini venus. It's also funny that Hiro also confessed to her and got rejected and he's Rohini sun lol.
Her character overall is a very good representation of Mrigasira though.
Mrigasira is basically the eternal seeker archetype.
With it's totem animal being Deer, they are alert, restless, always scanning, easily intrigued and spooked. They chase ideas, people, projects. It's associated with Soma and desire, so there's always themes of longing, chasing something just out of reach, emotional hunger that never fully resolves.
It's a nakshatra ruled by Mars and as I mentioned before, Mars nakshatras tend to be similar to Mercury naks in how they embody the "cute and silly" persona. She has a very proactive, versatile and adaptable personality and knows how to be charming and cute despite her very dark past, she doesn't exactly dwell on it. In fact, she runs away from it which is a common theme throughout the show and running away/leaving is Mrigasira symbolism. Mrigasira is known for themes of chasing, running (away), leaving a situation, searching its soulmate, intellectualism and languages.
In the drama, Cha Mu-hee explicitly tells Ho-jin that she's going to chase him like a crazy woman instead of preserving her dignity even though he rejects him. I found it very funny and somewhat understandable (prob cuz its my lagnesh nakshatra) and immediately caught up on the Mrigasira energy.
Mu-hee is actually incredibly smart and described as witty and adaptable by Ho-jin but she covers it alongside her tragic past with her her funny behaviors which is common among Mars nakshatra women. She's also not afraid to speak up her mind, act impulsively and cuss people out. Mu-hee’s charm, humor and impulsivity aren’t just personality traits; they’re tools to stay in motion, to avoid being emotionally cornered. Even her intelligence gets filtered through this; she adapts quickly, reads people well, pivots constantly but never quite roots herself anywhere.
Ho-jin is a polyglot and by association, she also gets involved with foreign languages, cultures and travelling.
Her Ashwni Sun also shines through her Do Ra-mi role, a cute zombie character who kills people, but it comes the reason she goes viral and everybody loves her. She makes dark concepts look cute and charming (like sweet serial killer by lana del rey), and that's something that Ketu nakshatras do a lot.
