bf!sukuna: what birthday?

i always see characters getting a special bday post but i’ve never seen one for sukuna, #changingthat

sukuna was the type of guy to usually go for a black coffee. it wasn’t until he met you that he discovered the wonders of milk tea. a delicate sweetness much like the person who introduced him to it.

stirring in the milk, he thinks of you. you’d been awfully silent all day, not a single text or a call. which wasn’t unusual, you were probably busy. still his mind erred there, debating what you could possibly be up to.

the doorbell rings, followed by three incessant knocks he could recognize anywhere. you were here, at his door. not bothering to look through the peephole sukuna opens the door expecting the woman he loves, only to be ambushed.

there’s a delay where he just watches you struggle with the party popper and after some give it finally pops into his face.

sukuna blinks furiously, swatting confetti off of his face.

“what the hell is wrong with you woman?”

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUUKUUNAA” you continue to shove your way in through the door.

after placing a party hat on his head which he begrudgingly accepts, you reach for the cake. candles already lit up, you shove it infront of his face singing your dramatic melody.

sukuna takes the cake from you so you don’t accidentally drop it on him and listens to you sing through the whole song.

cheekily your raise your chin, smiling wide “what do you think? did you like it? look at the cake!!” you point, unbelievably excited.

sukuna’s silent.

then slowly he moves his neck down very much like a hinge to look at the cake. it’s a doodle of an angry man with pink hair.

“it’s you!” you exclaim, eyes blown wide.

“what birthday?” sukuna asks.

“what?” you blurt out.

“it’s not my birthday” he states.

“yes it is? silly!” you wave him off.

he captures your arm in his, sukuna truly wonders how you ended up in his life. a woman with so many notions of her own he couldn’t begin to understand where such thoughts blossomed. still he gives you the benefit of the doubt.

“you must be mistaken” he says not wanting to upset you.

he’s dead wrong though, “well you don’t have an official birthday but i thought we could you know just make one up” you shrug.

“without consulting me?”

you rise up on your toes giving him a quick kiss on the cheek “i’m sorry my love, you’ll have to make do”

a celebration on a day he had no say in such nonsense, sukuna thinks. however his complaints are brushed away when he sees just how much this means to you.

he’d never celebrated his own birthday, hell he didn’t even know when it was. for someone to love him enough to do all this, for him? it was strange, unheard of.

you’re looking at him now all pretty handing him a knife.

“you gonna stab me with that?”

you burst into laughter, “no kuna it’s to cut the cake”

“yeah i knew that, just testin’ ya”

(he did not know that)

you move out of the way, giving him his spotlight but he pulls you back, your back to his chest.

“i want you to cut it with me”

the cake now pierced, you take a swipe of some frosting and boop it onto sukuna’s nose. he pretends to look perturbed but the hint of a smile on his lips does not go unnoticed by you.

he grabs your finger bringing it up to his mouth and licking the frosting right off.

“so sweet, much like you”

you giggle and lick the frosting off of his nose. sukuna hugs you so tight you feel as if you’d burst maybe just from sheer joy.

“my lungs are collapsing” you shriek.

“i’ll save you” he nibbles your ear.

“happy birthday sukuna” you say with so much love.

“thanks?” he guesses,

you narrow your eyes.

“thanks so much, love”

you smile hugging him back.

They project and fantasize about me, but I'm learning to be more clear in how I communicate so I can avoid this. They both said to me at some point that they thought about being a male stripper. LMAO, it makes sense though Pluto is in a public house, the 10th house, in Scorpio, and it wants to leave an intense impression. Scorpio in Mars is usually hyper sexualized. It could work for them if they ever thought about it, but also this is just one of the ways it could manifest. Pluto/Scorpio In the 8th House: You guys have been through some shit.
