The Horsehead Nebula by Simon W Via Flickr: Only 2hrs of narrowband data unfortunately, but it'll do for now. 3 Ha subs and 6 SII, 15MIN exposures. Some LRGB exposures as well. Using an ASI1600 mono cooled camera and Takahashi E-130D astrograph

Running Chicken Nebula - Narrowband and colour by Simon W Via Flickr: Following on from my earlier LRGB image here - www.flickr.com/photos/48232585@N00/32423172953/ This image combines narrowband data with LRGB. The narrowband data comprises 15 minute exposures using the ASI1600 mono-cooled astro camera, total exposures comprising: 22 of Hydrogen-Alpha (3nm astrodon filters) 18 of Sulphur II (3nm astrodons); and 14 of Oxygen III (3nm astrodons) This is a lovely nebula in our southern skies, also known as Lambda Centauri or IC2944. Taken with my Takahashi E-130D telescope and Software Bisque MyT astronomical mount, using Theskyx for equipment control and plate solving. All exposures set at gain 75 and exposed at -20c.
M78 by Simon W Via Flickr: Messier 78, in LRGB. Comprising 15 shots of 10 mins each Luminance, 5 Red, 3 Green and 6 blue (all 10 mins each as well). Taken with the ASI1600 mono-cooled camera at -20c, 75 gain, using the Takahashi E-130D astrograph and Software Bisque MyT astronomical mount. Taken from Heathcote, Victoria, Australia The red band in the lower right is part of Barnard's Loop, that surrounds the Orion region.
47 Tucanae by Simon W Via Flickr: a very quick test of 30 second exposures at 75 gain with my ZWO ASI1600 mono camera. Just 20 shots of luminance and 6 each of RG&B. Taken with my Takahashi E-130D Astrograph, from Heathcote, Victoria, Australia. Very pleased with the variety of star colours. Processed in Pixinsight, photoshop and Adobe Lightroom
