Went out for a local goat hot pot with my husband in Xinjiang.
When the pot first came out, I was a little disappointed — it looked like there was no meat at all. But after we started eating (and digging a bit), we realized there was actually a ton hiding at the bottom… we could barely finish it.
They even had a little dance show at the restaurant, which was cute.
The only downside? It’s supposed to be a non‑smoking place, but plenty of people just lit up anyway, and the staff didn’t seem to care. We even asked them to say something to the smokers, but… nothing happened.
