UNDENIABLE PROOF ASIA HAS THE WORST DRIVERS ON EARTH
I almost ran over a rabbit and cried.
Ever seen a FEMALE ASIAN UPS driver? Hahhhhh! Now you have
Car Owners Are Funny People
I used to own a car. Own as in, all paid up for. It was a brand new 2001, 2-Door Chevrolet Cavalier. It was perfect. It never gave me any problems. It gave good mileage and took me safely from Mexico all the way up to Canada, and then some. For me, a car was just a means to get from A to B.
I didn’t need an SUV, or a fancy sports car. I could never get over the fact that once you took a car out of the dealership, its value depreciated. I just wanted something safe, reliable, and that wouldn’t dent my wallet with huge monthly payments. I had friends that would pay over $700. U.S. for their monthly car payment and they earned the same amount of money as I. My car payments were half that.
In fact, they would happily share their aggravation with me by basically complaining to me about their cars.
I also had friends that bought used cars. They may have saved a lot of money on the car’s purchase but they more than made up for it in upkeep and maintenance, not to mention the price they paid for time and stress whenever their car broke down, or if something in the car needed to be fixed. I witnessed their aggravation. In fact, they would happily share their aggravation with me by basically complaining to me about their cars. I didn’t know it then, but that wasn’t really a considerate thing to do. You can keep the negative energy to yourself, thank you very much.
I don’t own a car now, but I have an awesome urban bike.
I have very kind friends who take me on rides and sometimes pick me up to bring me along with them on errands. What can I say, they really like my company. The funny thing is, I’ve been observing the most unusual behaviours from friends with cars. They all seem to be generally angry people.
They get angry at everyone on the road. They think everyone else is stupid. They get upset at old people. They get upset at women drivers. They get upset at Asians. I happen to meet two out of those three categories and I happen to be a very good driver!
I don’t know why they need to be so angry. They have a car. They are warm. They are able to get from one place to another much faster than a bus, a bike, or walking. But they seem to always be in a rush. This scares me.
Sometimes I think that car owners take life for granted. Sometimes I am scared to ride with them because sometimes, they drive recklessly. I get scared to ride with them because sometimes their anger for everyone on the road is so great, that I am afraid it may cloud their judgement or reactionary time on the road. I personally love my life. I generally love people. I’m one of those individuals that like to give benefit of the doubt, or I like to place myself in other people’s shoes. What’s even more funny is that, the things that my friends complain about, that “stupid” people do on the road, they too are guilty of doing. What the heck.
I wish car owners nowadays would just learn to chill. I may have to start refusing to go on rides with these angry people. They should just get a bike.
