dimSummer presents Sub Continental Bass
Every once in a while, a compilation that promises to be revolutionary is released.
It serves as a prophecy for the future of a genre, giving a valuable peek in the direction of the genre, as envisioned by the high lords of that particular gene of music.
dimSummer Presents Sub Continental Bass is most definitely one of those compilations. It is possibly the most important release for asian electronic music in 2011.
While we had posted a preview of the same a few weeks ago, the album is now up for grabs on beatport, and it does not dissapoint. Buy it here.
Featuring the absolute masters, from Nucleya to Piyush Bhatnagar to Nuphlo to B.R.E.E.D, if there's one asian bass album you should invest in, it's this one.
While it's impossible to choose a favourite, we are definitely partial to rhapsody by Bhatnagar, and Hinduistics by Filmi (FS Mix). But then, Sabbo's Come to Me is excellent too.
