Chinese Ground Orchid (Thunia marshalliana {I think})This really pretty orchid comes from from Nepal, through Sikkim, Bhutan, north-east India, Burma, to China, in the area of almost all of Thailand and Malaysia. In China, these orchids are found in the provinces of Yunnan, Sichuan and Tibet. My plant blooms through the middle of December into January and has been doing so for several years. each year the old stem produces one to two new shoots.
