Drinking a Bijou tonight, the Savoy variation out of the #waldorfastoriabarbook However, I made a further variation by reducing the Green Chartreuse by half. I thought the Chartreuse was a bit to assertive at the 1/2 Oz called for. For me, it overran the other flavours. Bingo. Bijou Deegan 11/2 Oz gin (used Brokers) 1 Oz M&R sweet vermouth 1/4 Oz Green Chartreuse 2 dashes orange bitters Stir, strain, pour, maraschino cherry garnish Thanks to @handlebarsnyc for this book that never ceases to entertain.
