Um, hello Toby. What is it like working with Martyn? Is it tedious or rather enjoyable? *Shifts uncomfortably while staring at his knife*

[Toby]:  “It’s uh. It’s interesting, I’ll tell you that. When we’re not busy getting our asses kicked, it can be pretty fun, yeah. Of course, he gets on my nerves sometimes. We’re friends, it’s our job. That answer your question?” He very carefully put the knife in his pocket, out of sight.

What did it feel like killing that Scarecrow Toby?

[Toby]: He’d still not forgotten the heat of Mercy’s blood that had splashed onto his hand. Not for lack of trying. He held back a shudder, and scowled at the intruder. “None of your god damn buisness. Fuck off.” That infamous knife of his flashed in the low light, a silent warning.

Yo Martyn and Toby, how big is your little group? I don't think a small gang is gonna stack up well with the other notorious gangs here...

[Martyn]: How big is our group? Well, we have quite a few people actually. You just don’t notice them because they blend in to their jobs like top notch Saplings should. We have more than enough people to compete with the other gangs around here… I got Saplings everywhere, and when I say everywhere I mean everywhere. Even where you’d least expect them… Isn’t that right, Toby? What do you think? Think we got enough people to handle the other ‘big boys’? 

[Toby]: I think that if anyone thinks we can’t ‘stack up’, they’re gonna get hit with a pretty big surprise, right Martyn?

[Martyn]: Oh too right, Toby! They’re going to get hit with a big surprise, alright. They won’t know what hit em! Now, if you’ll excuse us we have a lot of work to do. Come on, Toby! 

[Toby]: Right behind you.

So, Toby... Care for a drink or two on me? I'd like to talk to you and decided might as well make it worth your while.

"A drink huh? Well, I don’t suppose I have much of anything to do. Anything specific you wanted to talk about?" He threw a questioning look at the lady, wondering why he was suddenly a person of interest.

To Toby: What is it like to work with Toby?

Toby: He looks up at them, giving them an incredulous look before slowly answering. “Working with Toby? Obviously the best job. He’s awesome. On the other hand, so is working with Martyn. I think they’re a good team.” He chuckles a bit at himself, looking back at them. “Anything else you wanna know?”

Martyn and Toby, what's it like trying to set up your own mob?

[Martyn:] He scowls down at the ground, one foot  scuffing along the concrete. “It’s hard and no one takes us seriously.”

[Toby:] He nods, nonchalantly straightening up from the wall he was leaning on. “Eh, I mostly handle the dirty work. Martyn does most of the technical stuff.”

[Martyn:] Turning with a nod, he shrugs, a wide grin breaking across his lips. “We both do a bit of each.”

Slicked back brown hair, gleaming gray eyes, and a devilish smirk. One hand shoved in the pocket of his leather jacket, the other twirling a pocket knife around, almost carelessly. Leaning against a brick wall, glancing over to his blonde pal, who was muttering some... Choice words. His smirk widened, and he absently kicked a rock. He had quit school, choosing instead to become the right-hand man for Martyn, the leader of the new mob called the ‘Saplings’. Toby focused back on the knife, still twirling between his fingers. Spotting a rat scrambling away in front of him, he threw it, and the noise stopped almost instantly. He bent down, picked his knife back up, and started cleaning it off. Go on, ask him a question. I dare you.
