Quartz: when/what version did you start playing?

I started playing Java during 1.3! Horses were WACK when they were first added :D HOWEVER, I was playing Minecraft Classic, the discontinued free in-browser servers since mid-2011, which lines up with....... uhh.... Beta 1.8.1, apparently! YOOOO I didn’t know I’m an honorary beta player 

Netherrack: have you ever built anything (besides towers for getting glowstone) in the nether?

Oh yeah definitely! Right now in my singleplayer world I have a blaze farm hanging from the nether ceiling by massive chains (I removed all the fortress and a lot of the netherrack from around it), as well as a nice two-floor cottage, front garden, and apiary for my twin piglin sons :]
