Operation Puppet’s Overture

Enough is enough, Killer Laurence and Malice Lily will remain a constant threat unless we finally imprison them into the hellhole they both belong in. It’s clear they will not stop unless we do something about them.

Thwart their attacks, or tens of thousands, maybe even more, will die by their hands.

Both of them will remain a constant threat throughout each mission, they will do whatever they can to kill all of us.

Don’t let them free again like last time, give them their long awaited punishment.

Location 1: Tengami Tower

Portals have opened up into Tengami Tower, Killer Laurence has unleashed his “puppets” into the tower, dead bodies which he personally modified as his own army. That’s not to say Malice Lily herself isn’t getting involved herself.

Here’s the plan: We can assume that the calls Killer Laurence keeps sending as “The King of Riddle’s” can be stopped if we destroy any cellphone and satellite towers. Be quick, however, it won’t be long before Malice Lily corrupts the region.

Complications:

Illusions: Killer Laurence and Malice Lily will use magic to cause hallucinations, don’t get distracted.

Malware Infection: The systems of Tengami Tower were corrupted by Killer Laurence’s blood magic via a digital strain.

Seizure Warning: Malice Lily will flash the lights in the tower rapidly, be prepared for disorientation.

CHAPTER 5, ACT 7: REGARDING THE TENGAMI TOWER TEAM

(The five of us teleport to Tengami Tower. Upon reaching the familar Stark Mansion-inspired room we last saw back in June, we see Haruka, JE and Susie all suffering from a hallucination by Malice Lily.)

🃏 Dr. Andonuts! I have already told you, I am sorry about what happened to you! Why are you doing this to me?!

🌸 Father, please! You have to realize you've already faded from everyone's memory! This is a pointless endeavor!

(Anna, completely unaffected and doing her nails, looks up and sees us.)

Of course, Kyle. Exiting Sentry mode.

(M.O.S.H.I. flies into the building. I suit up, and I aim the energy beams on the suit's gloves at the other three. Instead of an energy blast, however, a blast of concussive force is blown out of the gloves, knocking Joke-Explainer, Susie and Haruka into the wall and out of their hallucinatory trance.)

Uh, guys?! We've got another problem!

(The zombies are being lifted upwards to the 77th floor by both Malice Lily and Killer Laurence, and have broken every window to get in.)

Correction: We have TWO other problems!

(The virus is still being uploaded to the Central Computer Chamber terminal. However, by the time I make it to the Central Computer Chamber...)

...It's...all gone. The data is all gone. We...failed a mission.

(Haruka suddenly bursts through the door into the chamber.)

You backed up the data?

Haruka, you are amazing.

Okay, so, I have a plan: You, Alter, Violet, Henry, Ellie, 𝔸𝕟𝕟𝕒, and Noaka will fend off the zombie horde. Me, JE and Susie will run M.O.S.H.I.'s external antivirus prorgam to get rid of Killer Laurence's computer virus, then we'll upload the data backup.

(We split into two groups. Haruka runs back and sees Anna using her thorny vines to pierce through multiple zombies in a very brutal fashion.)

(The puppets all are frozen solid. Anna uses her vines to shatter them all in one strike. I quickly run in from the Central Computer Chamber.)

Okay, the virus has been deleted! Backup going live...NOW!

(As the backup goes live, a huge shockwave is blasted out, causing all the remaining zombies to be evaporated. Killer Laurence shows up, transforming back into his regular form.)

Goddamnit! How did you even manage to pull this off?!

Grrr...fine. We're done here, anyways. Time to head to our next stop. Malice Lily, let's get outta here!

(The two teleport away.)

Okay Michelle, I am fully caffeinated and camp drop-off is complete so I can now focus on this extremely important ask!

I simply cannot, CANNOT choose between three moments that consistently drive me insane when I think about them too much, perhaps because they speak all speak to how my man Mickey is absolutely so sure about his hold on Ian’s heart (and dick, let’s be honest).

1. Look at this little knowing smirk. “Knew you’d come,” uhhh yessir, this has been all Mickey has thought about since the cops slapped those cuffs on him and he knew it would be a minute before he was reunited with his soulmate.

Hi Itsu! For Infinite Blue it's basically just Mystic Messenger because I hadn't really played any VNs/otome games before MM 😅

In general relevant storytelling inspirations for me are Tim Burton/Henry Sellick, Studio Ghibli and anime series like Full Metal Alchemist, Fruits Basket, Baccano, Cowboy Bebop, and Monster.

Writing wise it's a bit all over the place, but I love whimsical stuff like Howl's Moving Castle (the book), mysteries like Agatha Christie novels, and horror like from good old Steven King. I do enjoy genre hopping, both in reading and writing.

Music is also a huge inspiration! Thanks for the question :)
