Is the DVD version of YOI different to the anime? 😱

Apparently it is.

It happens a lot with anime series. They fix or change things in the discs because they have more time to work on them before the release.

I saw people saying the new/official version looks sad and gloomy–that’s the point, I guess. Viktor wasn’t a happy person at all. He was obviously depressed and lonely and I wouldn’t be surprised if they put emphasis on his depression in the second season.

Also, it might be because working on the structure of this house for the second season, they wanted the house to match and be the same in both seasons. People also say it might be because of copyright issues with the photo for the first version but I doubt that.
