Hello!! Do u have any tips for where to start learning programming? :)
this python tutorial is worth a try!
i think python is good for beginners because there's less weird stuff ({;}) to worry about than other languages.
you can also learn by programming Connect Four!
if you want to learn web programming, the same site has a javascript tutorial! i'm made of javascript :3
a lot of people learn easier with drag-and-drop code!
Game Maker lets you program games with drag-and-drop blocks. it has lots of beginner tutorials!
it's the game engine used for the gorgeous Hyper Light Drifter
learning programming via making games is rewarding, because the results are tangible and visual and you get to make fun things to play with friends!
learning via drag-and-drop programming makes it a looot easier to pick up text-based programming languages! Game Maker includes both drag-and-drop blocks and a text-based coding language so you can make the jump when you're ready.
you can also just stick with drag-and-drop if it suits you!
The Game Maker's Apprentice [pdf] was amy's first programming ever, circa 2008 :D
good luck!!!
