what if Techno bad choices due to abandonment / trust issues? his fear of getting betrayed he ends up betraying someone he loves and regrets it. it was his choice even if a choice fuelled by fear and panic. he still hurt the ones he swore to protect and tries to make up for it once he realises his fuck-up

okay this makes my brain rotate rapidfire. YES LET THE BAD CHOICES COMMENCE, YESYSEYSEYSE

You can do SO MUCH with "i fear this so I'm going to do it out of fear" WELCOME TO THE HORRIBLE REALITIES OF HUMAN EXPERIENCE. Also can make such good Dreamnoblade/Techza/Dreamzablade angst in particular. He knows Philza doesn't like Dream! He also knows Dream doesn't trust Philza! By siding with Dream but also making it look like he hasn't sided with Dream to placate Philza, he's setting himself up for the option of either betraying Philza's trust or betraying Dream to keep Philza's trust. You Fool! You Silly Billy! You delightfully complex madman!

Which makes me zoom because Techno and Philza are portrayed as being this Solid, Nothing Can Destroy Their Friendship Duo. Where does that line end, what makes communication start to break down? What are the dealbreakers in their relationship?

Philza: damn that Dream, upsetting Tommy (my son's little guy who I have a lot of complicated feelings about) he's such a bad guy

Techno, panicking because he has Dream in his bedroom: okay but what if he suffered through incomprehensible horrors. He's just a person after all

Philza: he can be a person that I dislike :/

Techno, slowly slipping into his bedroom: okay thats fair, yep thats definitely fair, unrelated please do not go in here for the next week or so

And then it becomes either Techno and Dream against the world when the fuckery happens (with maybe Dream perceiving that Techno resents Dream for being a wedge in Emeraldduo, and then either trying to make Techno leave him so Techno can go back to Philza, or going to Philza himself to make Philza forgive Techno)

OR Techno having to actually betray Dream in front of Philza and feeling very guilty while Dream tries to pretend he's Very Normal about how he could never be anything to a person who he cared about so very much (and then everything get inevitably fixed when Philza realizes Okay Maybe Things Here Went Wrong)

What species are all the awesamdurnz kids ??

oh!!! From Oldest to Youngest, with their Official Player Names and the names they go by: Honiferous_Dew/Honeydew: Bunny hybrid! She was found in the woods, so her Bunny didn't come from any of awesamdrunz. One of the original drawings of her I have here, but fully colored, she would be a white bunny with sparse brown spots. Her ears usually stand tall on her head, but often she'll wear headbands that push them back a little.

Joyous Ex Machina and De_Lute/Joy and Lute: Creeper Hybrids! Obviously the creeper part comes from Sam, but their coloring and patterns come from a combo of all three parents. I also am really insane about Creeper Hybrid lore in general so there's a little bit of that mixed in as well. Here's a really old WIP I tried to do of their designs but never really finished. They still look vaguely like this in my head? But its still not Perfect in my brain.

Jett Mohs/Jet: Fairy Hybrid! They're like Hannah, but they lack any overt magic or wings, just the pointed ears. Its enough to register him as human-passing by most people's standards, but also just enough to be considered a hybrid by Hybrid Hunter standards. I have a ton of sketches in my sketchbook trying to nail down a design for them, but nothing concrete enough to feel like I can post. They're dark-skinned with curly black hair and soft brown eyes. Possibly a beard when she enters her adulthood, but still haven't decided.

Infrared/Fred: Enderdragon hybrid! I've not actually written down a lot of things for Fred, but she's got very sparkly scales that reflect many colors, along with claws and wings and teeth that could chew through concrete. Entire thought process for Fred was that, possibly after a decade Sam might give Punz a Soft Look and say What If We Had Another and Dream will laugh and Punz will sigh fondly. I have nothing drawn for her.

tbh I think dreamnap fluffly when they we're younger is very cute. Both just very close and loyal and following each other always

the first week that Bad invites Dream into their home, Sapnap finds himself woken up at 2 AM, Dream shaking his shoulder. Sapnap blinks the sleep out of his eyes as Dream insists they go outside into the field nearby, letting himself be dragged without much thought.

There should have been monsters outside, waiting to get them, but there aren't. He's too young to question this, too tired. Dream is vibrating with excitement, tucking Sapnap underneath his chin as he throws the blanket he brought over both their shoulders. He's pointing out constellations that Sapnap has never heard of: the Crab, the Rascal, the Iceologer, the Glare, the Great Hunger- rambling stories that cause a rumble in Dream's chest when Sapnap turns to press his ear to it.

Dream's looking down at Sapnap when the shooting star passes over both their heads. He doesn't see it, but Sapnap does.

"Make a wish," He mumbles, falling asleep a few minutes later.

He wakes up with Dream in his bed, both of them tangled up in the blanket covered in grass stains. He never did find out what Dream wished for, but he makes his own, a little belatedly. Best friends, forever and ever.

dreamnap is like a dude and fire tiger fight, sometimes it gets tragic, sometimes it gets gay but there's always something on fire

Sapnap is usually the one on fire in these scenarios. Unless they both decide to fuck in lava. But what are the chances of that happening :o)

If I wanted to be funny about it I would say that this is just really elaborate foreplay for the sex that they'll be having whenever someone wins and unless its someone they really want to have a threesome with there Will Not be interference to this abnormal horniness. Which is no one, if this is a post-prison battle. They'd like to fuck by themselves please, they've been separated for too long.

Otherwise, I think Dream would generally be a little torn if Punz wanted to get involved but ultimately would demand they leave. Sapnap wants Dream dead, not them, and this is Dream's first friend, his once best friend. Some things you have to do alone, and this is one of them.

(I can't imagine Dream would ever want Sapnap truly dead, though; he wants Sapnap, ultimately, to be happy and safe. He just doesn't think it can be with him anymore.)

Sapnap would be pissed as all hell if someone were to try and interfere, 100 percent. Sapnap over the course of the SMP has felt betrayed again and again, made to feel small and like he doesn't matter. Has lost both his partners and his friends to their own personal demons. He wants desperately to matter, and Dream was one of the earliest people in his life to make him feel like he mattered. You will not make this 1-on-1 match about your own personal bullshit. Dream is his, to love, to hate, to miss more than anything else in the world.
