I’ve already mentioned it in a discord server I’m in, but I literally could not emotionally connect to either the characters or plot of Scott Pilgrim vs the World. I literally felt nothing. I read the entire damn comic, including the extra stuff. And I felt. Nothing. I kept waiting for something to happen, for there to be this spark of aha!, but it never did. The entire read felt like I was dreaming. Now that I think about it I might have been dissociating throughout the entire comic.
