There’s a look on their face that says they’re already thinking about what they can do for the Titan in return. In the meantime, however, they’ll settle for taking the Titan’s hand in theirs and lifting it to their mouth to press a kiss to their knuckles.

Their laugh is more surprised than amused. “I suppose I’d just have to kiss them back, yeah? And then we’d have to talk about things.”

Hi Clem! ❤ What was your first thought when you met the MC?

They smile fondly, softly. “I couldn’t believe how small they were. I was only about four at the time, but they still seemed so, so little. And so fragile. I wanted to protect them.”

“...Maybe. But, uh, I wouldn’t want to spread that around before talking to this possible crush of mine first.”

what is the most EMBARRASSING thing that you've ever done?

“Ha, that’s a tough one. How do you rate something like that? But I guess if I had to choose, I’d say one of the moments in my early teens when I wasn’t used to how gangly my limbs had gotten. It felt like I was constantly tripping over myself and everyone else, and I just kept apologizing about every five minutes. Ma had me running errands for her by then, and I remember once I managed to fall and shatter a glass jar of apple butter all over one of her customers’ floor. I started apologizing and rambling, trying to make some feeble jokes about my height. The other person was trying to clean up the mess and they told me impatiently that this happened to a lot of kids my age, and to either help them or leave.” They snorted at their past self. “I wanted to sink through the floor. Of course I stayed to help to fix the mess I made, but the silence was so damned awkward.”

“You wh -” Their eyes widen and they cover their mouth with one hand. For a moment it looks like they might not say anything else, but then their hand lowers and their expression hardens. “I don’t know if this is your idea of a joke, but either way I think we need to have a little chat.”
