marriage of convenience for the ask game?
Hi!! I hope you’re doing well!
Marriage of Convenience is a fic (I intend maybe three or four chapters?) where Sami and Jey are forced to marry to keep peace between Syria and Samoa. Obviously, their relationship is forced and neither wish to marry, but time progresses and you see them fall in love.
Fun fact! The initial reason I started this fic was a post talking about the marriage of convenience premise, and a commenter said they love when someone in the couple goes “Where is my husband!?” to show they’ve truly started to love one another.
So you’ll see that in the fic! :)
"I think that's a great idea," Roman nods, looking toward the younger twin, who already glares back at the chief with resentment in his eyes. "A marriage of unity between Syria and Samoa will form a sacred bond."
"I'm not marryin' him," Jey growls.
"Hey, look at that! I agree!" Sami interjects. "Isn't this whole thing about getting on the same page? I don't want to marry him, he doesn't want to marry me, I think we can all just—"
"Our flight leaves the island in two days," His father interrupts after a warning glance to his son.
"We'll hold the ceremony tomorrow night then," Roman nods, looking to his council before adding coldly. "Get on it."
While most of them scurry off to fulfill the order, Jey grows more irritated. His voice trembles with rage as he repeats, "I'm not marryin' him."
The chief's tone doesn't shift as he offers an empty smile. "You don't have a choice."
Thank you for responding! I hope this interests you! :)
