Distraction: Do you have an altar? If so, what’s your main inspiration for decorating it?
I appreciate it! I have several altars actually :3
I have my main altar in the living room that is for my primary workings. It’s a heathen altar so there’s faux fur, deer bones, drinking horns, and candles on it. Along with mostly my throwing tools - dice and runes.
My other altar is in my bedroom above an electric hearth that is for my ancestors. It’s still a work in progress bc unpacking and moving keep happening. But I have belongings from some family members that have been passed down, candles, pictures, and offerings for the Morrigan and Hel.
My other altar is a mini altar on my desk for creative projects. This is more of a personal altar to creative inspiration rather than devoted to spirits or deities. I keep personal clay sculpture figurines I’ve done, a candle, herbs, and art pieces I’m personally proud of.
When I finally own a house I would love to make these altars more elaborate - it’s hard to have luxurious altars filled with offerings and materials when you’re moving every other year. 😅
Thanks for asking! No one’s asked me so far.
💙ElisaUp late working on hw, send me Asks to distract from the anxiety?
Hey, the owner of the school I went to was a real help with study anxiety. He suggested putting on something you find funny on in the background, something youve seen a few times so you can ignore it but can tune into to break the tension. And take a 15-30 minute break about once every 1.5 hours and either do some light excersize and have a snack, or do something fun. Taking a break is important, if you wig yourself out you'll answer more questions wrong. I really hope this helps you.
Thank you so much nonny. These are great suggestions. I put on a comedy movie and I’m trying to work through it. Unfortunately, I’ve got the double whammy of ADHD and anxiety. I really should be on meds, but you know- health insurance. I’m trying to convince myself that writing a paper on the need for security compliance in IT isn’t any more intimidating than answering asks. 😅
You are super sweet for trying to help. TY

Do you think Ratatoskr would be fun to meet?
Whenever I think of Ratatosk, it makes me think of a Pokemon. 😂😂 Just a pokemon shaped squirrel running up and down Yggdrasil with all the tea.
Thanks for the question! 💙 Elisa
Trying to cope with anxiety around my assignments. Who wants to distract me by sending me Asks? 🥰
How did you get into your Norse/Celtic heritage? Are you part Irish or anything. Or was it something that drew you in
Part of it was my ancestor work and part of it was a traumatic event in my life.
My mom’s family is part of the Irish Diaspora and Swedish immigrants who came over in the early 1900′s. Dad’s side of the family were one of the Scottish clans who fought in the revolution at Culloden Moore. When I initially started an intentional Pagan practice I reached out to Celtic Ancestors before any deities because I was still healing from a lot of trauma around Christian views of deity relationship.
As for Norse, they found me. Well, Hel did. CN: loss of a parent, cancer
Do you ever think about if there’s life outside of earth
Statistically, I cannot fathom a universe with billions of stars/suns and billions of planets and have earth be the only life in the universe. I feel like that is an ignorant approach to the vastness of our universe.
Additionally, I have worked with Celtic Deities who were believed to come from the stars. There are multiple pantheons who are believed to have originated from outside of our solar system. As an Omnist who believes in many deities and pantheons, I also accept those origins as valid possibilities.

What’s your fave breed of dogs
All doggos are the best doggos. Is it a dog? Great, I love them! 😍😍😍
Honestly, I’ve always owned mixed mutts that were just very loving, so smart, and great at training. I absolutely adore adopted dogs that are just so happy to have you as their human.
If I were to look for a dog personally it’d probably be a dog that enjoys being active but also will sleep on the pillow whilst at home. I’d love to adopt a rescued greyhound. Although I’d have to knit them sweaters for CO - bonus? 😅
Thanks for the wholesome question ^_^💙 Elisa
What Celtic aspects do you incorporate into your practice? Do you synchronize any Celtic and Germanic deities?
Oh gosh, that’s a rather enormous question bc I’d have to get into the complexities of the Celtic/Welsh worldview, how they view time, reincarnation, the journey of the soul, and ancestor veneration.
I really only incorporate a Celtic practice as far as Ancestral practices and shadow work is concerned. How I approach magic, deity devotion, blot/offerings, and my general practice are all very Norse.
