Do you have a fave artist for Eobard?
Bryan Hitch both wrote and did the pencils for Dark Multiverse Flashpoint (kudos to Andrew Currie and Scott Hanna for the inks) and although I'm not keen on the costume change as it is very Kid-Flash, the consistency with which he is drawn maliciously gleeful makes me very happy. So much murder.
What is your fav Eobard costume?
I actually really enjoyed the New 52 one. I thought it was a great design.
Are there any versions of Eobard you dont like?
I hate the most recent comic one despite the art being pretty good. I prefer the happy malicious villain of previous comics or of the recent Dark Multiverse Flashpoint over the whinny, obsessed, uwu why doesnt my hero love me, absolute dumpster-fire mess that Williamson wrote.
Also my love of the one played by Tom Cavanagh has decreased with each season of the Flash. Its not Tom, its the writers but the CW Flash has become something I don't even watch anymore.
Can you show your Reverse Flash museum? How many figures do you have?
I've never counted before but I have 43 official figures/toys (waiting for 2 to arrive). I have 2 custom figures I painted and 1 plush I made. I also have the 2 gaming figures that you paint yourself which I haven't painted yet.
As you asked for pictures:
Okey if thwne had child that had same personality like him, you say that he probably happy but what I'd his child hate him, I meant it's like thwne's hate to flash, it just Thawne the target of his child hate.
He definitely tried erase his child what if he can't? So his child's hate will haunted him like how he haunted the flash
Do you think he will felt scare, and finally saw himself in his child? Dod you think because of that he can change? At least he will stopping his non sense and Petty hate?
Ok, so you aren't the only person who has sent me asks about Eobard having kids.
To be honest, despite being +30 and female, I don't have kids. I also can't have and don't want them. I don't engage in maternal media because I've never had any maternal instincts. I'm able to maintain a brilliant relationship and a wonderful found family, but not having a natural family I am very detached from these concepts.
This is why I don't write fic about it myself, but also why I can't really advise you or anyone else who asks.
I don't see Eo as the type to have children. They'd be too much of a bother or potential threat in the future. He never really helped/loved or did anything with Inertia and he murdered his own sibling. The only kids he ever helped were Barry's kids, the Tornado Twins, but that was because he was using them to fuck up Barry. They were tools.
To be honest I don't think that someone like Eobard, who in my opinion, is happy to be a villain, has the same emotional range or societal familial desires as a hero would.
In your opinion, what is the major difference of characteristics between TV, Modern Comics and Classic Comics Eobard?
That is a great question. Ok, well the one connecting thread between all the characters is obsession. Eobard tends to be driven, petty, intelligent and patient. Oh and hating Barry of course.
I think the biggest difference is motivation and the nature of obsession.
The classic comics have Eobard as self serving and super intelligent. His obsession is 2 fold, firstly Speed and secondly Iris. He doesn't care about Barry, its just that he keeps getting in the way and is the only person who can stop him. This leads to them becoming arch nemesis and Eobard liking to spite Barry whenever he can. His motivation is his sense of entitlement and uninhibited freedom.
CW Eobard has a goal (getting home in season 1) and will do anything, including being nice and waiting patiently, to get it. He's very smart and although obsessive, he is stable enough to see a goal and know how to get there without outing or doing things that jepordize that. Even in Legends he was willing to work with and give some power to the other Villains to further his own goals. His motivation is his sense of elitism, being smarter, better and more important than everyone else.
Modern Comics Eobard was obsessed with The Flash, idolizing him. The most recent arc is pretty much him having a complete mental breakdown and going to further extremes. It's painful to read as it is obvious he is really mentally unstable, in pain and that nothing will satisfy so he is running down a horrible path of destruction. He pretty much wants Barry to kill him so it can be over. Its sad to read. His motivation is to make the pain stop.
We also have the old Rebirth and Flashpoint Eobard whose motivation is to fuck with Barry as much as possible. And N52 Eobard wanted Barry out of the way because he was a threat to his rule in the future.
I hope that answers the question. Its early and I feel rambly :D
When was Reverse Flash born?
February 18th is listed as his birthday. Which year changes depending on the comics/tv show. In the original comics he is introduced in 2463 and is about 30-40 yrs old. So the year would be around 2433.
I've seen that some fan pages on the internet say 2451 but that both makes no sense and is not mentioned in the Rebirth comic that they are quoting the origin story from.
