Okay so, through my eyes theyre those friends that have banter all the time and ppl that dont know them seriously question how they go trough one door sometimes, but they would actually do everything for each other and if one is gone for too long, the other gets bored.
They have such a close bond, there are moments where you can see how much they actually care about each other. There is a point in one episode (forgot the number) where Michael is poisoned by syringe but still manages to get away, KITT starts regocnizing Michael is living on pure willpower and if he loses consiousness, he dies. So KITT starts frantically telling jokes to get Michaels attention, and keep him awake. And there are also little moments such as KITT calling Michael an ambulance and following right after it, KITT is such a loyal friend i cannot
I love Michaels clear fascination for KITT. He tries to hide it but you can sometimes really see how intrigued and interested he really is in KITT, wich, yuh, who wouldnt be fascinated about a talking sentient car-
I don't think theyre really romantically involved (sorry 😭) but to me theyre those friends that would do everything for each other even though they may not seem like it. Like Xavier and Rox (another human and car duo from another show i watch) even though Xavier and Rox purposefully annoy each other and Rox (the car) sometimes doesnt cooperate with Xavier at all cuz hes a little shit (KITT was trained much better 🤧)
I think theyre so wholesome. Absolute childhood heroes <3
