oranges for sure. brightly coloured, popular on earth, funky interesting history with their history w/ human language, fantastic

not that they would rly say they have a least favourite or anything but they had the baby experience w/ lemons (this was, of course, Sachiko’s doing) and it was a bad introduction and they’re wary of all lemon things after that

anything that’s too plain/boring? to them it just feels like a waste of the cool shit they see humans doing w/ food so they go :c

probably? since they’ve got alien biology so human food is gonna work differently w/ them. it’s just a matter of time before they find out what their body doesn’t want.

but it ends up either like A. “the potato sweats” or B. “yes I’m lactose intolerant but I can and will shovel all this ice cream into my food hole”

ok fun story time for the meanest thing i can think of: back in the update when the book & quill came out in Minecraft, I immediately asked my (7yo at the time) sister if she wanted to start up a new world with me and explore what new stuff had been added, so we did, and after some time, we found a village, and in a chest in a house I found a book & quill

so then my immediate thought is to start writing in the book from the perspective of a villager about all our escapades in the village, describing what we did and what our skins looked like, and I go to my sister and I’m like “oh my god look at this book I found! the villagers know what we’re doing!!” and she loses her mind and she’s so excited, and we’re like “ok let’s leave the book and do some stuff and see what they notice”.

so she starts tearing up all their wheat and I sneakily grab the book and write smth like “oh no these travelers have ruined our crops!! whatever shall we do!!” and I put it back and she comes back and looks at the book and is like :OOOO LOLLY THEY KNOW. meanwhile I’m absolutely dying with laughter

then we quit playing and like the next day (?) I tell her it was all bs and she responded. poorly. I don’t think she’s ever fully trusted me since lmao
