That’s honestly kind of hilarious to me. I figured the main reason they did it was union laws about using babies in movies, but I can see why film executives would look at each other and say “Yes, that sounds like a good idea”.

Hello! I feel like I haven't seen you active here in a while. Is everything okay? I might also just not be seeing your posts, but I thought I'd check in because there's a lot going on right now. Hey there! I’m doing fine, but I’ve been *super* busy off Tumblr for the past three weeks. I tabled at a convention last weekend, so between that and school I’ve been too busy to be on the Tumblrs. Don’t worry- I’ll be back this week :)

Confession: I’m a lazy shit who doesn’t care. Typically at school it’s closed (or at least last semester it was because if we didn’t close it we couldn’t get out the door) and at home it’s open (because my sister’s crap was blocking it from being able to close all summer.)

I am more confident in my ability to hide from the bear.

42. Which are better legos or lincoln logs?
Legos! EVERYTHING IS AWESOME (about legos)! You can make literally ANYTHING! Lincoln logs you can pretty much just make buildings and maybe some other stuff if you’re creative. Also like every kid I’ve ever babysat has had a massive bin of legos in the basement, so I have more experience with those.

OH MY GOD I HAVE SEEN SO MUCH SHIT. (Blame my brother’s trash taste and my mom’s bad habit of grabbing random crap from the five dollar bin.) That being said, a good chunk of this shit is also due to self infliction. I enjoy entertainingly bad movies. That being said...
I never want to sit through Space Chimps ever again. My innocent mother grabbed it from the five dollar bin and we actually sat down and watched this piece of shit for a family movie night. MY MOM refuses to watch it again. That’s how bad it is. It has the worst possible combination: mediocre production quality, an insufferable main character, even more insufferable side kicks, a disposable love interest (who is also obnoxious), a premise that makes no sense, and one of the highest poop joke to minute of film ratios I’ve seen in my life. While from a technical perspective it’s certainly not the worst thing I’ve seen, it’s definetly one of the most annoying.
Disney’s Hunchback of Notre Dame II gets an honorary mention for shitting all over both Victor Hugo’s and Walt Disney’s graves, while being without a doubt the worst produced of the direct-to-video sequels. (Even the Beauty and the Beast Christmas movie had more effort put into it than this.)
33. Ever ran out of gas?
Nope. My mom ran out of gas when she was in her twenties in the middle of the New Mexico desert and the closest gas station was an hour’s walk away, so she instilled in me very early on in my life (we’re talking like five years old) that you ALWAYS fill up the gas tank when it’s 1/2-1/4 empty.

Let me spread the Gospel of Aleyn, gay cinnamon roll, may he live forever! I absolutely love Aleyn, and the reason he’s so interesting to me as a character is that he really desperately wants to do The Right Thing™ for his country once he gets dragged into the shit storm of Carsmar/Andover politics, but he’s slowly coming to terms with the fact that his desire to fix everything is kind of wrecking his mental health and is really fucking up his anxiety.
Also he and Gareth are really gay and pure and in love.

*squeals* I’ve been working on it for a few months! The whole idea came from the Star theme song, which honestly kind of fits Night Vale pretty well. I have an almost full outline now, but since I want to do it as comics I haven’t had time to work on character designs until now-ish. Hopefully I’ll have it up and running by August.
