What’s your favorite Dust/Jim picture? Favorite Chuck/OC picture?

hmm...kind of a hard question cause there are so many good ones and it can be hard to tell which is which.

i guess a definitive dustjim one is this guy, couch pic. lord knows where it's from but i'm not the only person who's posted it so

it's just. Them. not in character, peep jim's lil cuffed jeans and his hipster boots. the two of them, cuddling on a couch somewhere.

technically, summer lovin' is in character as it's official and posted on the photographer's account. so, despite the big smiles, it's chorange, your honor. shout out beyond gorilla for capturing the most chorange/dustjim image of our times. i remember seeing it for the first time, before ai became so mainstream, and thinking that it had to be some deepfake for these unpopular (at the time) wrestlers....like it was too good.

Cause I don’t look at my best friends anything remotely like how those two look at each other. And we’ve been friends since 08/09 respectively. So almost the same amount of time.

i've been saying it for years! there's a tenderness that they have there, i'm glad that other people think the same way about them.

i definitely appreciate their friendship but, yeah. it's really easy to read into and put them in situations.

A: Of the fanfic you’ve written, which is your favorite and why?

it's hard to pick just one, so lets do three.

my day will come (if it takes a lifetime)

the oldest on the list, and still one i'm incredible proud of. it was the first time i had ever took something on like this, and it was something i wanted to do to prove myself in a way. it's not perfect of course and there are some stuff i'd do different now, but i'm still very proud of it.

i still think the emotions of this fic are the strongest part of the whole thing. chuck's at a crossroads in his life in this fic, he starts it in a low place and then works through his feelings about life and about orange.

fun fact: my mom was the one to convince me that there should be a love confession, i was waffling and i asked her after reading a bunch of it to her, and she liked the idea of the love confession.

it also came at a strange time in my life, i ended up writing a good chunk of it while on the road for one reason or another. i think i needed it more than it needed me, in a strange way.

i think this is one of my best complete works start to finish. i think i set out with an idea, and it just came through completely how i intended it to. dustin's retirement is something so interesting to me, there's so much you can do with the idea of it, and i ended up really enjoying this one particular idea.

i really like this fic but i've always avoided talking about it because it was a gift for someone i don't talk to anymore. which is really just how life goes sometimes, but dang. either way, i really enjoyed writing from fire ant's POV, chuck/fire is really so fascinating and i loved writing this story in particular. it hit an itch that i'd had since my big chikara dive, fire ant as an obsessive little maniac and chuck who's more of a surface level bad guy, that ego melts away pretty quickly.

J:  What’s your favorite fanfic trope?  Have you written it?

also a tough question. like, what counts as a trope? only one bed? abo? cheating? i've done all three of those, pick your poison lol. cheating is definitely up there for me, i love them doing something they shouldn't do and not really caring if they hurt others.

i feel like it would be easier to pick one that i don't like and haven't written tbh, i've been around the block a couple of times at this point. so, if we're doing that, kidfic lol.

oo hm, there's been a lot. i usually just give dustin jobs tbh, like i employ that man on the regular. and then jim is somehow there, and then they fuck about it.

i saw a post forever ago about a dystopian ai future and self driving long haul trucking, and that turned into long haul trucker dustin and the ai that was put in his truck being jim, who's trying to seduce him so the company could fire him. that one's pretty weird lol.

i like a weird au a lot tbh. i think it can be fun and challenging, especially trying to keep it in character. i'd take a really weird one over a mundane coffee shop au tbh, because wrestling is already a weird job so making them less weird isn't as fun (even though i do have a coffee shop WIP).

19) About 5 month, to join a part on a discord server that I’m on that is for writers (😳😅😂), most definitely and it’s still bumpy, still writing my first series and want to write a ton more.

30) Yes-ish the fic that is based on a dream is my drafts and might never come out. Yes I wrote about a fandom that is no longer very active, I don’t remember what the fic was about though.
