all i’m saying is this. like truly, calling this now. putting it in record, and i’m confident im in my bag here—

Dustin and Steve are going to have the most emotional arc this season. everything else is crucial too, and there’s so much i haven’t remotely rambled about yet. but that can come later. for now? this is canon. these two are going to break our hearts and put them back together again and personally?? I’m LIVING for the build up. it’s all headed somewhere dark and brutal… so that we can sob whenever it’s beautiful again, more than ever.

How long have you been cooking?

So, I have been baking for as long as I can remember. My mom and I would bake cookies together all the time and I would help her with her holiday baking. By about 9, I was making the pies for Thanksgiving and Eater all by myself and I would frequently make cookies or cupcakes when I felt like it. Cooking came more slowly. I would help my mom on holidays, but I had far more interest in baking than learning to cook a turkey. As a teenager, my parents made me cook one night a week and sometimes it was very uninspired but I slowly got more comfortable with recipes. I also would go over to my aunt’s once a week and we would make dinner together, our favourite was a sausage and tomato dish I still make to this day. When I first moved out on my own, I did a lot of simple cooking—tacos and chicken wings were my best friends, but by my early 20s, I got interested in party planning (I threw some really great parties when I was young) and my interest in cooking grew from there. I wanted to make fun party dishes and then that grew into a general interest and by the time I got married and had kids, I found that cooking was something I really, really enjoy. I made a lot of my own baby food when my kids were young and the last couple of years, I have developed an interest in canning. I am a self/family taught cook. I have a giant collection of cookbooks, but I also consider any recipes a guideline 😂.

i’ll forever be a uk girliepoppy && have my life, friends, etc out there ~ but long story short, my gran && auntie && uncle all live over in the states now, && at this point in my life (im literally thinkin ahead even in my 20s) i’m wanting to be based by them. especially given the climate of the world rn, like i just wanna be there w/ them along with my life partner. even my flatmate here is moving there next year, once she goes from hybrid to fully remote at her job (++ her bf will be moving too, they’re getting engaged eeeeep he’s proposing this Christmas!! he’s already in the states so it’s all working out for our lil pod)

but i shall forever be a uk babygirl wiff my London life:)

Guys i know you love having your favorite series updated but instead of always asking "when is ** being updated?" or sending pleads, let's appreciate this amazing person who is not only working on one but FIVE fics with different plots and creating a whole universe inspired on our favorite character because they love doing that. And on top of everything also having a real life and taking care of herself. I know all asks are not ill intended but we shouldn't be just asking for this and that we should be thanking you for finding time out of your day even when it's hard and you are struggling.

this is the kind of grace that my soul yearns for && longs to hug though the phone because you all seriously mean the world to me && keep my creative writer / fandom girlie alive.

i pinch myself every day, because the fact my world has given me a career that supports my homebody heart that loves to come home && be in my little writing/fandom realm after big adventures. i seriously feel like I’ve lived multiple lives in just my short one and like.. now i love just being home with my loved ones around me && the financial stability to simply ~exist~

🤍 i could go on forever but all that to say, writing has been my greatest love (outside of my irl sphere of people) && it’s granted me a life that allows me to do it both professionally and creatively. i’m a sappy mess of joy, tumblr is forever my little safe haven && you all have an enteral library of fanfiction lore with me here in mishaland!!

^ which is why… I cannot in good faith rush any of my works because they’re all my separate universes && demand to be given the apt attention they’ve all had from the jump, and never any less. 🤍 so please, just know ~ all of them are not going anywhere. my entire library of fics will not ever be abandoned or forgotten. like, even if i got hit by a bus tomorrow, i would find out a way to write them from the other side lmfao 👼🏻

are you a billy hargrove apologist?

this is such a vague question that pretty much sets up anyone on the receiving end for failure. no wonder it was sent anonymously. 😒

(if this was sent with good intent, then by all means… fine? but i’m still going to answer this point blank.)

i’m a fanfic writer. i write fanfic. i write characters included in a particular fandom universe or when writing my fanfics. i rewrite characters and sometimes follow canon plots/details, sometimes i don’t. i interpret them as i want. i also like to deep dive/seek/explore the depth of different characters that goes far beyond the surface.

no — i do not justify or tolerate corrupt, indecent, intolerable, unforgivable displays of violence or poor character. but do not come at me on my blog for including the likes of Billy Hargrove in my fanfictions, especially if you’re out here wondering about him being in my hunger games fanfiction ~ “I See Fire” (he’s in the second book, inspired by catching fire). just like all my characters in all of my fics, OC’s or established characters, i write Billy Hargrove the way i want to write Billy Hargrove. be about it or… *kisses forehead* kindly get the fuck off my page.
