Was the horse saved?
Every horse that was in that feed lot was saved! I didn't get "Black Jack," myself, but he's safe and in recovery! If you like, you can look in my rescue tag to see the horse I did get, Kit-Kat.

I definitely will! A friend has expressed interest in the big guy as well, and she's even better with horses than I am, so if she commits to giving him a home, I'm ALSO going to be picking up another draft mare! Both will have excellent forever homes, if so! I'll definitely keep everyone posted!

What is the name of that horse?! I lived in PA a few years ago and he looks familiar. The horse i knew there was named Black Jack and he kept getting shunted from barn to barn yet i always found him again. I'm sorry i can't donate but i will will pass it on!
Even passing it along is a big help!
Unfortunately, I don't actually know the horse's name, just his hip number, "3200."
If I succeed in getting him, though, I'll try calling him Black Jack, and see if he responds!
