why is your titanic named Emily mcloughlin?
I named her Emily McLoughlin because…
Truth be told, I just thought it's a fun name to say lmao
I mean, I just didn't really want to follow the trend of calling a Titanic humanisation "Nikki", so I just tried to come up with a fun name, and "Emily McLoughlin" came to mind. I later made her full name "Emily McLoughlin Elsbury," got approval from several friends I know from Ireland and Liverpool, and...rest is history :)

Do you consider yourself the best in the anthropomorphic Titanic community?
For the record, I don't think I am, and I don't like people to think I am. In fact, I absolutely despise the nickname "King of Titanic DA", because I don't believe that there should be a "king" in the community, or any community for the matter. It's called a community because there's so many other talented people in the community doing great work too, some I'd argue deserve more attention than I do, haha.
I just do what I like to do when I find the time for it and share it with everyone. If even one person enjoys what I do, then it's all worth it for me.
So, PSA to everyone, please don't call me King of Titanic DA anymore. As a matter of fact, don't call anyone that. Let people be a part of the community in their own way and don't put anyone on a pedestal! 🙂

Hi! First of all, you flatter me, as much as I keep getting people tell me that, I just love doing what I do and I'm happy to see people get inspired by me, so no need for all the flattery, haha.
Second, there's many, but I think it's a tie between these two:
Queen of the Ocean (2021)
To this day I still get people tell me they got inspired because of this piece, and I do shed a tear sometimes seeing all of the positive influence it got.

were you always an artist?
To be honest, not quite. I did draw for fun growing up, and despite the fact that I got the idea of making a "personification" of Titanic back in 2nd grade, I never really saw myself in art. I actually saw myself in game development!
Living in the middle of bumfuck nowhere in the world in a household that struggled to keep me in school, along with some...not so great experiences with several guys really helped pushed me to get into art.
I'd say I'm doing an okay job so far. But I'm still learning new things, I got a long way to go!
What artists inspired you to make Titanic humanizations?
There's a handful that did, but I can't say that they inspired me in a positive way, if anything, 14 year old me got inspired by them because he thought "I could do way better than this!" I was such a little shit back then!
But nowadays, anybody who takes their time to enjoy my artwork, and maybe get inspired by it too, is what inspires me to keep going. I really appreciate seeing people like my work and leave a comment or message. I do what I do for all of you, so thank you.
will you do reference sheets for olympic and titanic?
Yes, I'll make proper reference and biography sheets for Olympic and Titanic. I've been drawing them for so long, so I'm obligated to do it, haha
